Hello Xannebull,
How are your girl doing? I hope she is getting well now.
I am sure you are not the only worried mom in the world. I am a worried mommy too. When I first become a mother, I was nearly paralyzed by the worry. My baby girl was having rashes all over her face, when I was about to bring her to clinic, I worry till cried! So I truly understand your feeling now.
Every time when my daughter fall sick/fever, I will make sure whether is she still eating well and plays actively? If she is, I will just feed her with the medicine and observe her every hour with thermometer. If her condition did not improved on the next day, for sure I will bring her to see doctor.
I remembered her paedeatrician told me once that, if the child is still eats and plays well, meaning he is still feeling good and nothing much to be worried about.
You have to take care yourself too, or else you are unable to take care of your daughter.

i think that being so over worried to children is part of being a mother. Why was your baby have rashes all over the face? My little child is now okay i really thank God for it. I always pray about my children's health because it's my weakness seeing them sick.

hey there. You are doing the right thing so dont panic. Keep an eye on her and make sure she doesnt get any worse throughout the night. Sometimetimes these things go away as quickly as they arrive. If she goes downhill hen call the Dr out. Good luck.

Do you have a thermometer at home? How much did it read on the fever of your child? If it is alarming, don't hesitate to visit a doctor.Meanwhile, complete rest and easily digestible foods can help her to remain at ease.Give her boiled water to drink and warm foods to eat.She will be better tomorrow.

Go call your mother. I bet she knows best and have had a lot of experience regarding this things. Plus, you'll know that she'll be giving additional tender loving care for her grandchildren.

Hello Xannebull,
I hope your child is recover by now. I am a worry mom like you too.
Once my kids are sick, I will keep my two eyes on them. I will normally let them take the medicine and let them have a good sleep. Also need to make sure they take enough of fluids.

hi rose, it's very popular here in the philippines. children got a body massage mostly from older people who knows massaging. it really helps a lot, especially if a child has been injured for being so hyper.

I don't have a child of my own but my younger brother is like my own son. If he's sick, I am the one that will be sleepless. My brother can't speak properly like a normal kid of his age so he can't really tell us about his pain (ie : where is it and how it feel) So if he has a fever, I'll let him sleep after taking some medicine. I use Kool Fever to help lower down the fever. If he's not fine by the next morning, I'll take him to the doctor.

Hi Xannebull,
Sad to hear that your girl is sick and Hope she will recover soon.
I am also a worried mum like you. When my son falls sick, I can't sleep well the wholenight.I will wakup every hour to check on his body temperature and make sure he can sleep well throughout the night.
When my son has fever, I will measure his body temperature every 2 hours and will use wet cold water to wipe through his body to bring down his fever.
Actually there is a kinda of plaster whereby you can paste at her forehead to bring down her fever,at my place here called :bye bye fever. It is easily available at supermarket or pharmacies.
Fever, cold and coughs are normal sickness among the kids. Do let your girl take her medicine on time and monitor her condition. If her fever is not getting improved by 2 days, consult with your doctor again.
My son ever has high fever last year May and has to be hospitalized at his fever keeps up and down for 3 days, doctor suggested to admit my son to hospital for further check-up. Lucky after 2 days, his fever is down and no sign of malaria, dengue fever attacked. During the 3 nights stay at hospital, I can't sleep well as I am so worried about his condition.
But I tell myself to be brave enough and I can't fall sick too as my son need me to takecare of him.
Do take good care of yourself too !!

I first want to say Im so sorry that your little one is sick..The main thing that you need to do right now is give her plenty of liquid. When she is running a fever she is using up the natural liquid in her body. You need to make sure that you are putting that back in. I agree with you if she isnt better than take her to the doctor.. I wish her and you the best. Let us know how she is feeling...
