harry potter series or the twilight saga?

Hi shamsnow, While I am not the world's biggest fan of either, I can say that from what I have seen they both have their unique qualities and attention getters. My daughter swears by both, she has all the series to both and rereads them all the time, we even made wands for her to use as she reads, it was great fun. I enjoy seeing how much pleasure a book brings her. It is the forbiden magical pull that has everyone wanting more. :) Have a great day

With regard to Harry Potter or Twilight Saga, I prefer watching it on the big screen than reading. I would love to see the effects of the movie. I am quite poor visualizing it if I were going to read it. I believe I would better understand it watching it than reading the book.

Hello! I've read through both series, although I've devoted a bit more time to Harry Potter (if that's what you can call reading the Harry Potter series through and through 8 times..). And as you can probable guess, i prefer the Harry Potter series. The story has so much more depth to it; it doesn't revolve around s seemingly singular plot line like twilight does, and I think Rowling is able to convey a larger range of emotions than Meyers. That being said,I do recommend both the series, as they are both great examples of teen literature. Dinkle.

I have not yet read the Twilight series so I can't really say if I like it or not. I have heard many good things about it but will be looking at it in a few weeks. I am currently on my third time through the Harry Potter series. I read them all once, waited a couple months and read them all again. Now my three year old and I are reading them (I change certain words)... we finished the first book a couple weeks ago and are working on the second. He loves these books and looks forward to our time reading them!

i watched the harry potter movies first then came the twilight ...harry potter is an aamzing story about the wizarding world....whenever the movie comes on tv i happily watch it..but nowadays i am addicted to twilight because of the kewl love story between a teenage girl and a cute vampire..the story is completely diiferent from other kinds of vampire stories...i and every teen will fall in love with this unusual romance...i have already fallen in luv wid the hero EDWARD...so for now i prefer twilight more interesting to watch....

I agree with you sheen13. I have the same thoughts. I too love twilight a lot and I think I can also relate myself with Bella. This is the first movie I have seen which have totally different vampires who drink blood of animals rather than humans, and their body shine like diamonds. And this stuff is really very appealing to me.And of course Edward is really hot as well as Jacob, he is also very good.

Hi.. I prefer Harry Potter. I've read all its books and watched the movies up to the 6th and I'm looking forward to watch the 7th. I would love to watch than read but harry potter movies are not exactly interpreted based on the books. Maybe just the first two movies were great and almost same with the book. As for twilight, I watched the movie but I was only able to read few pages of the book. I didn't manage to finish it. So maybe I am more interested with magical world than a different kind of love story.

I'm a biggest fan of Harry Potter. I have a book and dvd's of it. But when i first saw the Twilight saga, it caught my interest and i started reading and watch it. It quite interesting and i love it too. So now i have the twilight books and dvd's. I love magic and i love the story of vampires and werewolfs, very interesting!

Harry Potter is extremely popular with everyone in our house and has been for the last few years! My wife and my daughter are currently in the midst of Twilight fever, my wife has read all of the books and cannot stop talking about them! My daughter is halfway through the second book, but neither of them have seen the movies yet! There is a special screening at a local cinema which they are going to in a week or so! I have seen all six of the Harry Potter films so far and have read the first five Harry Potter books and love them! I will get around to reading the last two soon, but I have no intention at this stage of reading the Twilight books as they seem to be more of a girl thing to me!

hi sharmsnow i prefer harry potter series because all harry potter series is beautiful and great movie. i love to watch movie specially when I'm bored, however when my friends are go to my home she said that she want to watch a DVD movie and i ask him what movie do you like to watch she said that i like happy potter series. then i play harry potter 3 you know what all harry potter episode i have in my home i have all dvd copy of harry potter!

im fond of watching movies.Both movies are great.It really depends on the moviegoer if he/she will like it or not.

i love twilight more than harry potter. it's just so romantic and every scene has its exciting parts. harry potter is just full of magic but i also like it. however, compared to twilight, i prefer twilight over HP. :)

I like twilight series more than harry potter series.I like twilight saga more because I think I can relate to the character Bella here. So I am more into the twilight saga.Yea, I like harry potter series too but I don't get into the movie so much as I do in twilight. And I also love Edward Cullen. He is really handsome. I also love the unique vampire love story. Everything is very different from other vampire movies. So, I love the Twilight more.

I am a great fan of all the harry potter movies because it is so fascinating.When you watch the movie, you imagine yourself in the movie as well.You just need to say hands off to J.K Rowling, how she wrote the whole story of harry potter.It's absolutely amazing.Whereas,TWILIGHT, I don't know why, but still I love Twilight saga more than anything now.I find everything perfect in this movie as well.The hero is really really handsome.The romance is too unusual.Its having a different story which is new.The vampires of this movie are new.Just everything of Twilight saga is awesome, brilliant and I am a great, great and the biggest fan of the TWILIGHT saga and Edward Cullen!!

I prefer the Harry Potter series more than the Twilight series. I think that the themes explored in Harry Potter are more significant than those explored in Twilight. In Harry Potter there are themes of perseverance, overcoming adversity, friendship while Twilight I think emphasises the importance of being in a relationship too much.

I love Harry potter... and I think Harry Potter is the best, because all the books and movies had been a best seller all over the world.. ^^

I am a fan of Harry Potter series but I admit that I love the twilight much because of its love different love story.

I like the Harry Potter books and movies as well but I cannot say that I am a huge fan. Sometimes, the scenes on the HP movies are too gloomy and desolating for me. I like Charmed the most and it is a pity, the TV series has now ended. I miss the show and hope they will revive it.

well if you ask me, i enjoy watching more than i enjoy reading. although a lot of my friends say that it is more fun to read because it nourishes your creativity and imagination. but what i like in just watching is you do not have to think about how the scene is being played because the video information and/or the video details about a certain scenario are all played just for you. the scenes are actually provided so that you will only have to enjoy every animation/effect that is narrated in the story... although it sounds lazy, but it is fun and very convenient. about the rivalry between harry potter and twilight saga... well the story of twilight is good, but i like the story of harry potter better. because i do believe in magic...i mean magical powers. i also believe in vampires but i think vampires are SCARY and they are REALLY, REALLY BLOODY....
