I am a father with a son who is 18 months old...i am really happy because my son is very very atractive and healthy...he has almost never been sick...since he was born.. i think he had only twice a cold...thanks God...but now i am having a question because my son is very atractive..he almost never stops moving. he always does something...if my wife or i ban him to do something, he will directly change to the other thing to kick or oh...i don't know how to describe it...do you think it is normal?

I don't have boys but I have 2 girls. I think that is quite normal for young children. They do the opposite of what they're told. Forbidden or dangerous things are attractive/tempting to them. Defiance is in their nature, just to see far they could go without being punished. My girls were the same, getting into all sorts of troubles. It will just get worse when he turns 2 - the terrible 2 age. You will be literally behind him to keep him out of trouble. Good luck!

Oh so am I. My son is 1 year and 6 months and he's really very very active! HE is so hyper that he always kind of hurt himself. I am worried sometimes when I'm not around to watch him. But I know this stage is really the toughest to parents, Wait til he turns 2. Your son will be more active than today. It's hard but it's part of being a parent!

Hi bulegosong83,
I have a boy, they are very active from the day they are born. Boys are more curious than girls by nature and always want to explore and learn new things, people and especially their surroundings. While it is normal to protect your child from doing certain things, I think you should sit with him or carry him around your home and show him different things. This will help his curiosity and shoudl appease his exploring nature if only for a while. Find something that he enjoys best and try to nurture that like, a favorite toy with a cool sound, a soft blanket to feel safe, a truck with a string to pull, babies love noise makers and it is good for them to experienc it, it helps their brain develop and you get to help get him started in filling his curious mind with educational and safe things. Have fun and try not to be negative around him too much, they pick up on your vibes and moods. Have a great day and good luck.

I think it is more that normal =) It's just small person, who is too curious for life and things around him. You must be very happy parents to have such a child. In my opinion, You must stimulate his interest towards learning new things and exploring the world. It will help him in future.
But if it's more that just "very active child" more experienced parent will help you with decent advice.
Good luck to You!
