Strange happenings

My Hubby had a weird thing happen last night. He was watching Jay Leno and dozing like old men are apt to do, when he saw an e-mail addressed to himself located between himself and the TV he was able to read this, it was from a friend he had been corresponding with. When he came to bed he woke me up and told me about it. I asked him if he had turned on the computer to check and see if it was there. He didn't do that and slept the rest of the night. This morning he turned on the computer and there it was. Strange right? Have you had this type of thing happen to you? What did you do?

Wow, that's pretty cool. Sometimes, I'll dream something at night, and wake up the next morning to find that what I dreamt is true, when I had no knowledge of it before. I always am kind of amazed when that happens. Lately, I have been dreaming of flying, so when THAT happens, I'll make sure and let you know how I feel about that... ;-) Dive Deep!

Like a premonition? I've had a couple of things happen to me that could have been premonitions. I guess I'll never know, but I just sort of accepted it.

This was much more than a premonition. He actually saw the e-mail hours before it was even posted. Fun? Thanks

No that is not what happened, when we turned on the computer in the morning we found the message and it had been sent that morning, not the night before. We both may be getting forgetful but neither of us is that bad yet. Thanks

i just don't get this. are you saying he dreamed he saw his name on tv or computer like he was reading an email sent to him. or he saw his name on his dream or whatever. then when he woke up and opened the computer to check his email there he saw the exact email he saw on his dream. actually that was really cool. and may i know what was the email about. was it an important email or was just more of a greeting from his friend or whatever.

Yes it was a kind of dream, that state your are in just before full wakefulness. And he saw the e-mail in front of him just as it was the next morning in the computer. We did look at the email time sent to him and it was not the night before it was in the morning. So maybe she was thinking about sending it and he just caught her thought. This is why I put this out for comment, to see if anyone else had something like this happen.

He just felt it was a little strange, but he didn't go check the computer until the next morning and he slept great the rest of the night.

Hi Savypat, I am in awe of your husband's experience, that sounds like it would have been amazing. I have often dreamt about interest sites, including mylot. But to date I haven't actually turned on the computer to see the same thing there (which is a shame as they generally are really good things happening to me lol). I have had the dreams where you see something, and then later on (usually in weeks or months for me) you are actually in that moment. Those are never important things though, which is a shame, I just tend to be doing something and get the deja vu feeling of seeing it in a dream. All the best, Dranz

If you want to encourage this write your dreams down, I keep paper and pencil at my bed side. You have to write as soon as you wake to get the details. Thanks

Technology is weird. I am wondering if you ever had webtv at your house. The other speculation is that subconsciously he was thinking about this friend and really tuned in. I have had premonitions long before I had computer that turned very real. For instance, my first husband had been my boyfriend for over two years. He had broken up with me about three times. He was home on leave, asked me to come to his room we needed "to talk". I knew in that instant that he was going to break up with me, again. He was going to say "I do not want you to be my girlfriend anymore, I want you to be my wife." and give me a ring. That is exactly what he did.

Hi savypat, This is certainly very strange and it has never happened to me. Do you or you hubby have any thoughts on how it could have happened? I have heard of some strange happenings but this is a new one for me. Just a thought, but was it anything that he needed to know last night? Blessings.

That is pretty amazing! I haven’t had any experiences like that for a long time. Years ago I used to work with a friend and he and I shared a very strange connection. I used to think about him and wish him to ring me and he almost always did within minutes, I kid you not. We weren’t romantically involved but close friends. Sometimes in a crowded room I just needed to look at him and he would instinctively know that I wanted to leave, a drink etc. I have lost touch with him these days and the telepathic communication no longer works for some unknown reason but I have never had such a bond with anyone else in my life including my husband.

I have had many things like that happen to me in my life. I used to always know who was calling the house even before the phone ever rang! I can still tell who it is more often than not when the phone rings, but not always before hand. I have literally felt it when my mom or brothers hurt themselves and have even called to ask them how bad it was before they ever told me. I remember one time when I was very young, probably only 5 or 6. We lived in the desert and, as we all know, the desert is very dry. We had a pond dug out so we could have ducks on our property andone morning, Mom woke up and told us that she dreamt that the ducks were swimming outside the window. We looked out and they really were! It had rained over night and flooded so much that there was nothing but water all around us. It is actually pretty common for people in my family, so it doesn't freak any of us out or anything. We actually get some pretty good laughs at times.

Wow, that's a great experience.I believe it was a case of telepathy. There must be some strong bond between your Hubby and the friend who sent this message if he was able to see it.I never experienced this kind of thing,I'm not that good at telepathy.I can send the information about me, but I can't receive it from others.Imagine, once I was extremely tired and I fell asleep in the daytime. My cousin came to visit me and she couldn't wake me up.She rang the door bell, she shouted my name and called on my cell phone.I didn't feel anything,I didn't feel that someone is trying to reach me. Very interesting things are going around.

That is strange. Maybe there could be some unforseen things happening around trying to convey a message to your husband.

Wow, that's really odd. My girlfriend will actually call me just as my husband leaves me to go see his girlfriend. Which I think is sort of weird too.

I've never had something like that happen, but I can usually sense when something is about to happen...like the phone ringing...somehow I always know when the phone is going to ring and who it will be (without caller ID) lol...and when someone is getting ready to come over I know it most of the time before they even show up...I also can sense when someone I'm close to is sad/angry/in trouble...even if they are very far away...weird huh!!
