Are you taking a bath everyday?

We all live in different time zones, we have different climates, we speak in different tongues but somehow I'm sure about one thing, we are all taking a bath. The question is how often do you shower or take a bath. Taking a bath is a daily activity for me because I live in a tropical country and it is located near the equator. When summer comes there are times I take a bath two to three times a day specially when its very hot. I know countries located far north and far south of the equator have a very cool climate and because this people from this countries seldom sweat. How often do you take a bath? daily? occasionally? or when you just need to?

I dont remember when was the last time I took a bath. But I do remember when was the last time I've taken a shower. Well, doing it everyday will really helps me to remember when was the last time, and it's just this morning. Taking a bath eats lots of time, so i can only do it when I have many spare time. I shower every morning before going to school, or to some places. It makes me feel refreshed and the confidence that I look, feel and smells clean in front of others. At night, before going to sleep, eventhough i wanted to take a quick shower, my mother and eldest sister wont let me, because I have weak lungs and diagnosed having minimal pneumonia before. And they think that it won't help if I take shower at night considering my condition. I just "clean-up" before going to sleep. :) Enjoy your day hexeduser! :D

How nice of you to drop by. Thank you for your response:) Ouch you smell bad at night! just kidding!:)

HAHA oh, not really. I told you that I "clean-up" at night. Er? I think, "Sponge Bath" would be the right term. Hahaha! Though sometimes, I just can't take the heat that I forgot that I have weak lungs and I'll treat myself with cold shower. ;)

To hexeduser22 this is checkmail and do regularly take bath wihout failing, often two times when gets too much dirty, means a lot of sweat and a lot of pollution. Our daily bathing is an essential requirement of our health, which is to be fulfilled. As bath makes our body again fresh by washing away the sweat, dirts, germs and other harmful substance sticked on our body.Bath is an supplemnt to our health from outside and food is a supplement for our body from inside, both cannot be neglected.

Taking a bath is essential but I cannot consider it as equally essential as food. People can survive for years without taking a bath but not without food

It is a 10-15 minute shower for me, everyday. I cannot end my day without a shower, even in winter. I don't take baths though because I think I am soaking myself in my own dirt. Besides, I am afraid I will fall asleep in the bathtub.

Shower and bathing is two different activities but to most people that is not using English as a mother tongue it's the same. There are bathrooms without bath tubs in most places outside US so they address shower and bathing as the same thing

Not to me even though English is not my native language as well.

I take a bath everyday. If I go on duties in the hospital I need to take a bath again after duty. If its too hot then I'll take a bath a lot of times. It's very refreshing.

That's a good habit taking a bath after your duty in the hospital. Hospitals are not actually germ free so it's better to take care of your body

If I don't get a chance to take a bath I at least wash-up everyday! I take my hygiene very seriously. I don't see how some people (who are able to) just simply neclect to wash-up, and let themselves walk around smelly for days at a time.

Beggars don't usually wash up everyday. Whether they like how they smell or not unless they can't find clean source of water to wash wash their body then I guess they have to live with their smell. There are also people who are just lazy to take a bath or in some cases there are people with phobias with water

I take a bath everyday, once or twice a day. I take a bath before I go out and before I go to sleep so that I'm refreshed. When the weather is too hot, like when it's summer I can take a bath 2 to 4 times a day because of the heat you always feel sticky and hot.

Just like you, I am living close to the equator, so at least taking a bath twice a day is a must for me, especially as a man I tend to sweat a lot comparing to women. Taking a bath for me is somewhat like therapy, aftermath, I will feel completely cheer up, comfy and ready to do my routine ( in the morning ), or ready to relax (in the evening). One thing is I like cold water, hot water makes me sweating as if I haven't taken my bath. I use hot water only if I wasn't feeling very well or too late in the evening ( to prevent from rheumatism ).

I don't have to look at your profile but I just think that we come from the same country, and yes, bathing is a daily thing with me. Occasionally though, I bathe two times a day when I have to go to a party during the later part of the day. I think it is a regular habit of people here, like breathing and eating, to take a bath everyday. I cannot imagine not doing it on any single day.

I checked your profile and yes we are from the same country and almost the same province I'm from Iloilo but I grew up in Manila. Yes it's regular for us here but what if you weren't born in a country like this. Let's say you were born in Alaska or some cold place would you still consider taking a bath regularly?

What if you don't live in a tropical country? Imagine living in a country close to the poles of the Earth, where sometimes the temperature is below freezing point. Would you still take a bath everyday?

I only take a bath once or maybe twice a week, but taking showers is a daily activity. I like to smell nice if you know what I mean. Sometimes it's very frustrating to sit next to someone how hasn't the same habit as you, and they kind of smell very bad. I think this is a matter of respect for you and for the people around you.

Well we could never really condemn this people. It's different for everyone, we should just try to avoid getting caught up in this kind of situations or scenarios. What do you prefer when you shower, cold or hot water?

Dear hexeduser22, Same as you here. I too live in hot climate and without a cool shower we could never manage and never able to withstand the climatic conditions. This year even it is rainy seasin now, we could find no rain and it makes still worse. So, it is better to take shower daily here in my country. I'll take a bath daily twice but when I am in the room air-conditioned, I seldom sweat and I can take only once a day sometime. Cheers... Have a nice day..

Hi suhaku! I hope your still here lotting after all this months. I'm not from Indonesia, I'm from the Philippines and I can say we have almost the same weather patterns and seasons. I must agree living in a tropical country really requires an individual to bathe twice or thrice a day

I shower everyday but only when I feel the need to. Like when I don't do anything all day and don't go anywhere and i'm not dirty, I don't feel the need to shower so I don't. But usually I will just to be clean :)
