Endometrial Biopsy - have you done it?

I had my annual pelvic exam last week and the result was normal. I also had my blood tested at the same time and it also came out normal. Now I received a call from my ob-gyne's office yesterday and I was suggested to undergo endometrial biopsy. I said why? what's wrong with me? I was told that it's just a 5-10 min procedure and it will screen if i have endometrial cancer. I got quite nervous when i heard the word "cancer" cause my mom died from breast cancer so i said ok and then made an appointment for next wednesday. I then talked it over with my husband cause i was getting worried. He asked me to call the doctor back and ask if it's really necessary for me to go through the procedure. My husband is thinking that they're just after our insurance which is "money". So i called my gyne's office a few min ago and I'm expecting her to call me back later today. I went on youtube and looked the endometrial biopsy up and it is scaring the hell out of me after watching this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=at-CfWUiClg I've read the comments under the video and I really don't want to do it if it isn't really unnecessary. All my test results were normal so why do this? I'm not even having irregular bleeding. Have you, ladies, gone through this? Is it really that painful??
