Im really tired of seeing so many political party, dozens of Presidential Candidates it just make the election in this country a mess. I heard that we used to have a 2 party sytem before but i never experienced it. That's why im asking should we go back and have a 2 party sytem and let our own taxes pay their campaigns?

I somehow agree with you. With only two choices to choose from would eliminate cheating since there is only two candidates that you have to look for if the votes are being cheated it can easily be pinpointed because of that. Well right now, I do think it is hard to return to the two party systems since there are many politicians that have different views about how they want this country ran. You can just imagine that even within a party there are bickering happening and lots of things going on that disunites a party. I really think that it is impossible if you can just see the opposition they cannot unite under just one standard bearer because there are indeed many aspirants. That is why the multiparty system is present in our country. We cannot just identify to just become black or white. We have been used to that and we are liberated from only choosing two but choose the best amongst the many in hand. This may sound confusing since there are many choices at hand but in the end I guess that is the practice of true democracy that everyone is heard of their ideas. But in the end only one will emerge as the winner by elections.

Yup! my friend, there is two party system before. I don't experience too, but if we read the old constitution or the 1941 constitution(I'm not sure if that is 1941) or under the 1973 constitution...But I read not remember the particular year. Two party system is really good because it's not stumble people in choosing a Presidential candidates. Because many candidate will give us more time to choose...

This is a good idea. This should implement in India and Philippine. Because in India the ruling party doesnt have the mandate of majority means more than 50% of the voters.I dont know what is the system of election in Philippines. Here only 50 to 60% will vote in election. We are following a multiparty system in India . so the 60% percent of the total votes will divided among the 5 or six candidates and the winner will always have the mandate of 30 to 40% of the total votes. So this is wrong. In India the Prime Minister and Presidents are elected indirectly.
