It sounds like you need to read the Help section to learn about Amazon Associates. This is basic information you should already know! Well, I'll tell you the answer, you earn 4% on purchases when someone purchases from your widget, astore, etc.

Actually, I've only been an associate for 2 days. But I was able to answer those question cause I've had those same exact questions so I looked at the Help section. For selling anything, or even getting referrals for sites you listed on your blog, you need A LOT of traffic to your blog. Traffic is the main thing needed. I still have more research to do like see if having my website on traffic exchanges breaks the rules.
