I don't buy gifts. What is easier for me to do is give gift cards since our youngest daughter and her family live in another state. We have two other daughters who live near us but generally give them gift cards too. It's too difficult for me to buy 3 gifts for our girls, for 5 grandkids and also our son-in-laws. Maybe I am lazy but our kids are fine with it and can buy whatever they like for their kids. We also have two birthdays in December, our youngest daughter and oldest daughter. It's a busy month. Our entire family is not together at Christmas but we are for Thanksgiving.

The only people that I really used to buy for were my mom, grandparents, maybe a close friend or two so I never really spent that much money to begin with. However, I think this year, I'll probably only buy gifts for my partner and my mother. My grandparents kind of ignore Christmas anymore since my grandmother has been sick so I'm not going to worry about buying for them this year. It's definitely not on my to do list.
I doubt I'll end up buying for anyone else too. Those are the only people I'm planning for so we'll see what happens I suppose.

I buy for my kids and grandkids and my sisters...so not alot but I still enjoy it. I also usually find some sort of handmade craft to go with it.....they each get a small present and a gift card to buy what they really want....the older grandkids are hard to buy for and all the grandkids and my own kids live in states far from me.....

I love buying gifts, on christmas day i buy gifts to my best friend and one of my parish priest. And not many people because these are the only people who remember me everytime. My family never takes gifts from me so i dont give its relationships so dad does not like gifting things. :)

Christmas is definitely the season for giving - especially for me! I LOVE to give. I typically buy gifts for my husband, his parents, my parents, his sister, my sister, and then a few other cousins that we're close to. We also buy gifts for his god mother and my grandmother. This year I will probably have some gifts to buy for the little girls that I nanny. I can't believe how soon we will be Christmas shopping! I've actually already purchased a few gifts that I found on mega sale! woohoo. I love giving. :-)
