How did Satan fall?

I have had this question for a while now and have yet to find an answer, but if Heaven is perfect how could Satan find the sin to sin in a sinless place? And when you see God, how can you not fall to your knees in His holiness, much less rebel against him? Unless God gave Satan the sin to rebel, which would mean God created the sin, and thats not true because that would go against his nature, how did he Satan get it? I know that no one has an answer that is guarenteed true, i would just like to hear some opions, please.

Hi wiman...
you have to read the Bible VERY carefully to find your answer, but it's there. First of all, the Bible does not say Satan fell before the creation of the world. In fact, he fell when he became jealous of the love and affection God was showing to mankind. Lucifer was created superior to man in nearly every way, so jealousy was natural. Another misconception is that free will is a gift to man and man alone. Wrong...free will is instilled in every creature that draws breath. When Lucifer saw the communion between God and man instead of God and him, the highest of high angels, his pride led him to his fall, as is also spoken of in Proverbs. God didn't give the sin, but He did give the free will to choose. Free will is much more important than you may realize, because without it, we could not willingly worship God, and worship's very meaning would be erased. The same question could be asked this way: why was there even a tree in the garden of Eden of the knowledge of good and evil...wouldn't man have been sinless if that tree just wasn't there? Again, this all comes back to God. If we willingly walk with Him and worship Him, the value of that act is infinitely more precious to Him than if He had created us without the option of disobedience.
Hope I helped!

i didn't fall i'm still here on mylot.. okay but enough of this bad joke i've also always wondered about this but i think (and i'm by no means an expert on this topic) God made satan to have free will and it was his plan for all this to happen including the apocalypse and stuff.

i thank you for your responce. and i dont mean to argue, But wouldnt God giving Satan the power to repel, the free will, in a sinless place require that God give him the sin also? which according to the Bible go against Gods nature and therefore, cant happen
