To spy or not to spy...(what to do?)

So I had a conversation with my mother a few days back and she told me that she that my baby cousin, who's 15, was moving to Boston from the Caribbean. So I thought that this was very weird since she's spoiled rotten and it would be a tough adjustment. This is a thing that happens in our family but usually after we finish 2 year college back home or at least high school. So my mother told me that she and my aunt were talking and they got different versions from both my cousin and her father as to who she was living with. Hence, my mother thinks that my uncle is keeping something from her and wants me to spy on my cousin when she gets here (even thought I'm 10 hours away from her in a totally different state). So, I will dutifully do what she asks me to do since I am worried and also my other cousin here with me is also worried. The thing is, I'm afraid she's probably pregnant and this is the secret my uncle is hiding. So, I'll do it so she has someone here for her, but I'm depressed about it since she's the youngest cousin. Guess we spoiled her too much.

So will you finally spy on her? I believe it is better to do not do that though your mother told you so because she has a life on her own however you may do it too as she is only 15 years old and if she is pregnant so better to take precautions too. I just hope everything goes well.

Yup, I'm going to do it But my Mom has no bad intentions. My uncle lied about it with his first daughter since he has problems opening up and got sick because of it. I remember my mom and aunt were there for him in the end so I know that they'll help him out with anything if he does go to them. So I'm going to be here for her since she's far from home like my other cousin and I are.
