So what's your take on Muse's most recent album? A big change in direction when considering their last album, don't you think? Now you have more operatic and classic stuff and I guess it's a big surprise for many that these exist now, though the former album already have some pointers towards it. I'm not really a huge Muse fan, but it's ok...still trying to get used to it. I totally am enjoying the song Undisclosed Desires the best at the moment. How about you people?

Im a big fan of muse, but in The Resistance's album I only like 3 songs which are the exogenesis symphony part 1, 2, 3. These 3 songs help me to write my sci-fi novel I do listen to the other songs like uprising, I belong to you, undisclosed desire, etc actually I like all songs from The Resistance album but not as deep as songs from the previous albums like plugin baby, stockholm syndrome, etc where I still add them to my playlist and cant stop to listen to the songs again and again. well I heard muse will release a new album autumn 2012, I cant wait for the new album and hopefully the new album will be more powerfull than The Resistance. Im not dissapointed with The Resistance album but not favorite it as previous albums.

I think the new album is great. To me, all their albums are great. In The Resistance, Muse has toned down their sound from songs like Stockholm Syndrome to relaxing tunes like I Belong To You. The 3 part Symphony is a great listen too! Undisclosed Desires is has a Pop sound to it don't you think?

Undisclosed Desires was an instant like for me and Uprising reminded me of the Doctor Who theme. Exogenesis was brilliant but I couldn't help but compare it to the District 9 soundtrack (I got it days before The Resistance and well, they're both classical, right?), and it kind of paled in comparison.

im a big fan of muse, i started to listening them while whey were in showbiz era..i think the resistance is a great album. yes, it so different with the previous album where we can see like showbiz, it shows like the band singing what they feel as teenager..now they have grown up. im a little upset when people that whining "why muse become like this??" , "gawd its a crap!". why need to do that? muse like to dscover new field of music, now they give it a chance. i think its a great album. if i was a journalist i'll rate this album 9.5/10
