I'm sad! It my the only short mug that fit in my one cup coffee maker.. So now.. what do i do!? I need coffee!! I have no instant, and nor do i like it!! can someone please bring me coffee?
Will your brain function properly without your morning ritual drink?! is it coffee? or tea? or maybe like my husband, coke a cola.
my mom bought cheesecake with blueberries on it last night when she took me out to get milk.. I think i will go pay her a visit after the lil boy i babysit goes home for the day. muhahaha.

Hi Sissygrl, I'm on my way with a cup of Greek coffee now so try and hold on.
Obviously I need to extend my deepest sympathies to you for this tragic loss, I feel you anguish even though an ocean separates us. I can imagine by now the darkest of foul moods is upon you with every good reason. And you are not alone. I cannot function without my morning coffees. I even go to extreme lengths to savour it in peace by setting the alarm one half hour before I need to so I can make coffee to have back in bed before I wake my son.
Obviously you should have been more creative but without the coffee I expect your brain was too fuddled to do anything more than sob with grief. A flat bowl could have been inserted where the cup should have been and then poured into a suitable drinking device.

I need coffee to be okay too, so I feel your pain.
Now what I would do is find a cup or measuring cup or something that fits OK in the machine until this afternoon then hit up walmart and get anew mug.
What kind of machine do you have?

I adore cheesecake with blueberries!!
Sorry about your coffee cup. I have a favorite--it belonged to my brother who crossed over two years ago this December. I'd be really devastated if it broke and I couldn't have my coffee in it every day.
Go to Goodwill or another thrift shop with some measurements of your cup and find a good, cheap replacement! I would miss morning coffee if I couldn't have it--I could function, but not happily. It's not the caffeine, that has no effect on me, but the flavor is wonderful!

oh its the caffeine and the sugar for me.. haha the combo of the both make the coffee wonderful.. it does effect me.. if i drank one too many i go crazy with cleaning and get hyper.. oh if i ever want to get the cleaning done around here, i just chug a lot of coffee and i go to work washing the walls and scrubbing the floors and anything else that needs to be done.. haha

That happened to me. The only thing with you is, I'm sure somewhere, you can find another cup that size. Mine was a cup that 20 years ago, my best friend bought me a coffee cup that said "your friendhsip means so much to me. I had it for about 20 years and it was the only cup I used for a long time. Well, years and years later, I found someone and bought a house with her, my first house and first girlfriend for a long time. I moved that cup into my house and used it most of then time. One day, I don't remember how it happened, but it fell. While it waqs falling I said out loud "Please don't!" But it fell and broke. And justlike you said, it was really sad. I can't have coke or any kind of soft drink in the morning. I need it in the morning too. So go out and get yourself another cup.

Ehm, well, it's been a week ever since you posted this so I hope you've fixed this little problem of yours by now. As for me, no morning ritual drinkings really, rituals don't really make too much sense for me :P

that sucks..some mugs just seem to enhance the flavor too.
i have a plastic one i use for my morning coffee now, somebody'd have to really go out of their way to break it.
the taste isn't as great as a ceramic or metal mug,but i have too many clumsy's around here.

Hey Sissy! I'm sorry about you breaking your favorite mug! But,
I'm sure if you go out shopping that you will surely find
another one that will fit your coffee maker! I'm sure it can't
be the only one in that size that would fit? Why don't you
calm down, go out and get some coffee somewhere and start
shopping for a new mug? I hope you find one soon! I'm like
your husband! I drink coke!

Hi. I think for the cheap price of a 1 mug coffee maker, you could go to Walmart and buy another. I think it would be easier to buy a new maker that finding a small mug. But, I agree with you...go visit your mother. lol

I only drink milk during the morning, and not drinking a glass of mild a day can kill me. I would crave to drink even a half glass of milk during the morning. I would also love to eat bread and butter during the day. If I am unable to eat bread and butter and drink milk my day would not be complete. I know that there is a difference between tea, coffee, and milk. Since milk is not addictive, but I would really crave to drink a milk and also chocolate. I can't live a day without eating and drinking this stuff per day.

I need my coffee every morning just like many other people need. Coffee helps me wake up and so does a shower in the morning. Also, sometimes I need coffee around 3 pm to help me finish the day. I try to not have coffee during the weekend because I know I drink coffee way to much and that I should cut back if possible.

Move to Canada!!! I live right down the street from Second Cup cafe, and my husband makes wonderful coffee at home in the mornings. We get our beans at Second Cup, and I always go up there once a day to get a mocha latte, so there is always coffee around when I need it. Can you put a bowl under your coffee maker, and then just pour the bowl into another cup?

I'm like your husband. I need my Coke in the morning!
I love coffee occasionally but only with a LOT of sugar and milk. I joke about it and say I like a little coffee with my milk and sugar.
Still, it is very acidic and I only have a cup of coffee occasionally. If my husband is working from home, which he does occasionally, he usually makes a pot of coffee and I'll have a cup, but only one cup. I also have to water down his coffee because he likes it very strong.
Funny you should mention blueberries, too, because I just bought some blueberry muffins and had one this morning. Yum!

Don't worry. This is a good chance to work on your patience. Maybe this happened for a reason and now you can start to kick the coffee habit. Have you tried looking into alternative healthy energy drinks? Do you have a juicer. You can make fresh fruit and vegetable juices that will give you a kick and keep your energy going throughout the day. Plus, you can drink them throughout the day without worrying about any of the side effects of coffee. Hope this helps.
