My chow chow gave birth to 10 puppies 7 months ago and all are alive until now. The smallest one is a little weird though. It originally had a large head, but now that it's grown a bit, she looks proportional now. However, I'm afraid something might be wrong with her. She bumps into things a lot and when she wants to look at something on the side, she moves her whole body to face it. Any ideas?

i love these dogs, but i heard they are not that great with children because they like to be center of attention and get jealous easily.. is that true with yours ?
Did you keep ALL the dogs? wow. that's a lot of dogs.. big dogs! with a LOT of furr.. you must have to vacuum your house 5 times a day!! lol..
Maybe you should have her checked out at the vet.. better safe then sorry.

ahaha, actually we sold off 9 of them. We only kept the tiniest one because we were thinking something might be wrong with her, and she really looked different from the rest of the other puppies. She's doesn't get jealous easily. More like she keeps to herself most of the time. I have another dog (A mix of chow chow and japanese spitz) and that one is the dog that gets jealous easily. We don't have kids at home so I guess it's alright.
And yes, a lot of fur. But since I don't have carpets, it's easy to sweep the fur.

ohhh i see.. i think the look of the fur is a bonus to me.. i love fuzzy things.. and that and the purple tongue. heheh. but even sweepng all the furr is more work!! I live in an aprtment so i wouldnt have a dog. and i dont really like dogs. but if DID ever get a dog when my kids are grown, i'd want a chow.
