Lately, i just realized that I am giving my friends more time than my family. Well, it is because I feel more comfortable telling them the latest things that are happening to me especially if it concerns with my work. Is this right? How about you?To whom do you spend more time?

I definitely spend more time with my immediate family (meaning my husband and my child). We are "older" parents, so we've done a lot of things with our friends before we had kids . . . and now we devote much time to family life - and we love it! We have another one on the way, so our family bonding is very special at this time . . . I'm sure we'll be a tighter family once the baby comes!!
Our families are nearby. We see my parents/sister every weekend for family time. As for my in-laws, we don't see them as much, even if they live close, because they have a lot of issues - and it's not really family time when we are there.
We don't see our friends as much, but do keep in good contact - and once and a while we will get together. But overall, I spend time with my family.

friends, preferably my bf.
i love my family but they are mad nosey and get on my nerves then again so do my friends. but like i said i'd rather be with my boo. =]
the only time im with my family is when we're doing something as a family which isnt that often or when i have nothing else to do and im at home.. but sometimes i tend to leave my friends and chill with my sisters
it depends on my mood and what everyone is doing for the day and night

We're almost the same. I also stay far away from my family that's why i find it hard to be with them. I only visit them during christmas season..

Sometimes I think we are all guilty of this one. I know that since my family and I are not close, and my husband is not that close really with his family, we are known to spend way more time with our friends than our family. Especially if it is with friends from work, or church. Personally I think sometimes you need the Break from your real family and find some others you can count on in the end as well.

My family. Specially my older sister and her family, shes like my best friend while my niece is like a daughter to me. I love spending quality time with my friends too but I really do care a lot with my family. :)

i think i have opposite think from you.
I always give my time more to my family than my friends. I know my friends are important to me, but my family is more important to me.
I also think i get more support from my family and it ecourage me to overcome my difficulties.
I talk a lot of things with my friends, but i talk more with my family. now my husband is my best friend. sometimes i think even we don't get married we will still be good friends. now it seems nothing can seperate us.

Until I had my son six and a half years ago, I spent more time with my friends than my family. In my family, I spent more time with my grandparents than anyone else. My friends and I were going through the same trials of life together and we helped each other in ways we were looking for help. It's not a parent's job to be their child's friend. There's no blame on either's side. Since I had my son, he's my number one! I spend more time with him than anyone else now. I miss my friends so much my cell phone bill is outrageous every month, but my son is worth missing them.

I spend most of my time with my family, since I do not have friends so close whom I can relate to. My mother and sister are closest to me and I love to talk to them and even take their opinions before taking some major decision in life. I would however like to have friends as close as my family and share my life with them. That is one more reason why I am on My Lot!!
