i think besides English, you need to learn Chinese language. Chinese economic growth has increase and it is not impossible that many people use Chinese language as a second international language. you may learn other languages, that will be better for you. however, i'm not sure that you can learn them online effectively. to learn another language successfully, you need to practice everyday. you can learn them all! keep spirit!

English by far!The languages that are important in international business, as an Internet service provider depend on the specific business you are in and the service you are providing and where you are focusing your marketing efforts. In general English,Italian,Japenese,Spanish are the key most international providers.

You should know french or german . Thouse 2 are important . If i were to say about my language, i would say romanian, but language doesn`t have a large spreat, even if there are a lot of romanian people all around the globe . But as an IT professional, i think that you should know english and your job better. Maybe they didn`t accepted you, not for your language, but maybe because of your knowledge . Take care and try again in other places too .

I think our time is limited. We can not learn many foreign languages. As English is more and more popular in the world, it can help us in our career development. So to non-english speakers, their own mother language and English should be in the top two on lists. Besides if the time is available Mandarin, Arabic also a good choices because we all know money is running into these areas. If you know the economical climate you would know which language will be popular.
I want to study French, but for now I just want focus English study. It’s more important to me.

Hi biman I think you are from India.I don't know which companies you have attended but major IT companies don't ask freshers for foreign languages but you should have solid command over English and Hindi.Foreign languages count when you have joined in the company and have worked for atleast two years and having the knowledge of a foreign language is just an additional positive but its not the criteria for selecting/rejecting people.
And if you are determined to learn a foreign language you first know which company you want to join because some companies are concentrating on Europe while some on Asia.So its better to know about the interests of the company before you start learning a language.
If you are interested in learning a foreign language try this one
