I haven't really been a fan of "new" music since the mid nineties, I think it's either whiney or about questionable activities and I really can't be bothered with it (with the exception of some great soulful artists like Ray Lamontagne...) I do however, have some interest in hearing about local unsigned bands. I feel that their music is raw talent as it hasn't been influenced by labels and producers and 15,000 hands in one pot turning what would have been a great song into a horrendous overproduced mess. What are some local bands in your area that you like to listen to. If they have websites or Myspace pages please include them so I can check them out! I'm very interested in knowing what's out there. Also, language doesn't matter... Some of my favorite artists are Japanese and although I don't speak Japanese, I'm more into the emotion that I can actually feel in the song than the meaning of the lyrics!
