is it just for the money, or do you really make friends here? since mylot expended, including the intrest gruops, it's easier to find people who are interested in the same things you are. did someone truly find friends he keeps in touch with?

Hi there juli_angel, well the reason why I joined mylot was actually because I heard you could earn extra cash just by merely being active on discussions. But when I was just 2 days old here on mylot, I suddenly got hooked up with it. I mean it's totally addicting especially when you start making friends and then having funny conversations. Plus I haven't really met any annoying person here so far, so I really can't think of any reasons why I wouldn't love mylot. And although this does not apply to all but I think most of the people here joined in because of the money being offered, and then like me eventually realizes that it's addicting and then totally forgets about the money.. =)

it is truly addictive :) I spend a lot of time responding to discussions, and I love hearing other people's thoughts.

huh.. I never thought about how long my comment has to be. my comments tend to achieve like, 5 lines or so..

If you keep doing that you'll get good earnings here. Cause it could be very annoying sometimes when people kept on creating new discussions like around 10, then just leaves everyone who posted a comment on their discussion.. hanging. But mylot sometimes do not pay a 1 liner reply. At least a 4 liner one could ensure your post being credited. =)

Hi Juli_angel, When I first started with mylot, my main purpose here is to earn some money. But after a few months, I got a lot of friends and we bump each other daily. It is very interesting to have some friends from all around the world that have a different culture and way of life.

For me, it's really not about the money. It's really more about the members of mylot and the discussions that go on. These aspects of mylot are really what bring me to mylot every single day. The money that I earn is more of a bonus than anything else. It's definitely not my reason for coming here.

it's nice to know that a lot of people come to mylot for the company rather then the money.

I am here honestly to ern just that little income that i hope i can do every month so i can help pay bills or just either buy food or gas. its hard now while people are unemployed so any income that comes in to the household helps out. I know people ar here to make friends but i see a lot of people here talking to each other on a daily basis and i find it quit weird to talk to people over thei nternet you do not know because there are some strange and weird people out there.

hello juli, I was here at mylot for money and small income. but in time it became something more and that is friendship, knowledge and companionship between other people. it's like talking to other people with even seeing them. i like this place too because of the anonymous practices of most users. frankly, i prefer that way

When I first came in here back in April, it was for the money, but as time has gone on, I realize that it is just a very small part of it. This is a community of people that are willing to share their views with other users that they don't even know, and are here to help them out as much as possible. I have had lots of friends in here, and I am thankful for each and every oneof them. I really do enjoy being here, as I have learned so much from others. I do feel that the money is just a bonus, but a very good bunus. I don't really worry about it when I am here though, as I feel that if I don't get the payout this month, then I certainly will next month, even though that is my goal to get it every month. I am havinglots of fun in here and I am here for the duration as I am not going anywhere. Good luck to you and happy mylotting.

my main purpose here is to make money. because it was very hard during the summer to make money for teens because all these adults were competing for the same position. so i had to join a online site which is very sad because my friend made 5,000 dollars the whole summer and i only made 10!! and i got my first earning money online pay out from here. i am very thankful but i feel really stupid because it takes forever to earn on here and i wasting my whole summer on chat sites like these where its hard to make just one penny. i try to thank about the positive every now and then. so i'll leave on a happy note and say my purpose is to make money and i'm gald i found mylot.

I use mylot for an additional income, but I understand that it can't replace an actual job. unfortunately, I tend to leave any job quite fast, so mylot is great for me :D

hi juli_angel, my purpose here in mylot is really to earn extra money. gaining friends is a bonus for me. and learning from the sharing is a gift to me. right now, i can already sense some whom i can establish friendship... those who appreciated my thoughts and responses and those who consistently respond to my posts. this means a lot to me.

Honestly my main purpose here is to earn money, not a big amount of money but just an additional to my expenses. At first I cant belive that there are sites like this that give you reasons to stay longer.

out of all the sites I've been too, mylot is defiantly the best. it does not scam you, and doesn't change the minimum amount you can receive.

hey there :) that is an interesting reason that I haven't heard of before
18 Sep 09
Well its definitely not to make a lot of money. I just like helping people. I used to use Yahoo! answers a lot of questions and stuff but this just seems to have that bonus incentive - the cash. So I'll stick here for now although there just doesn't seem to be as many people here to answer a question as thoroughly sometimes as Yahoo! members. It'll be a long time before I reach minimum payout. =\ I just try to jot down random questions that pop into my mind and figure I can post them here and benefit from responses and pennies!

I haven't thought of that one, thought I am familiar with yahoo answers.

To tell you frankly my purpose here is to make money. That's because I am already pass the employment age- I am 61 and a victim of a hypertensive stroke. As such, I can't land a regular job instead of this way of making money. I have to pay rent, buy food and take care of everyday expenses. So how can I cope without a job or income?

I do have friend here and I love to reply to their discussions. But to be honest, at the time that I joined mylot, I was after the money. It was my quest to earn online that lead me to join mylot. But it was more than money that I got after joining. I learned many things and gained many friends. So at this point in time, I really do not care much about the earning but rather about the things that I learned and will be able to learned as well as the joy of posting and making more friends.

i joined here firstly just to look around. my friend convinced me to join. so i did. look around read a few and find myself responding on some discussions and laugh and enjoyed myself on discussions that are really funny. plus the fact that you earn. my wife also reads a few of the tips i see here and learn a lot as well. so i am here to read to learn and to earn at the same time. i can say that i have a few friends but not the ones that i can keep contact with.
