I had been a member of reviewstream for about a week when a couple of days ago they sent me an email saying they had closed my account for alleged "fraud" for copying a review from the review site dooyoo.
The thing that really annoyed me about this was that I was the one who wrote that review on there and they should have known had they done a bit of homework that It was me because If I have posted a review before I always state that in the review and say what site I had posted it on previously.

Sorry to heard that but nothing much you can do. They have right to "disable" your account. Anyway, it will be better for you to look for other opportunity than think about this. Frankly speaking, there are tons of similar site that you can work for them, so just forget about the reviewstream and work for their competitor

Yeah, I also post reviews on a number of other sites and I am always finding different ways to earn money online. I wasn't really that pleased with the layout of the site anyway. It looks like it's just that homepage and nothing else.

Read their terms of service, maybe they only want original material not posted elsewhere. I know Dooyoo and Ciao users share their reviews on both sites - not sure if its allowed anywhere else though. I hear SharedReviews is the same as Reviewstream in that aspect.

The layout of reviewstream really sucks in my opinion. It is a strange way to operate though as it's basically penalising members for doing nothing wrong.

Hi there Lakerfanster, about your query, well you should have known that Reviewstream already stated on their site that whatever you write on their site about the product you review, should not be posted on any other site.
Meaning, if you have already an existing review on other site, and you copy and pasted it on Reviewstream, even if your the author, it will still be considered to them as illegal. If ever you review an existing product and posted it on another site, then you should have rephrased everything before submitting it to Reviewstream.
Here's the point, once you submitted an article, that site gives them the right to owe it and you have gained something out of it. Reviewstream will not pay anyone who just did some copy and paste thing even if your the author. That makes it avoid plagiarism, because other members do just copy and paste reviews on other authors.
Even if you are honest to claim that it was your article, it is still not an excuse because they already stated that your article should be unique (not existing) from other sites. So before you misunderstood them, you should have read their Terms first. Sorry to hear now that you got banned from them.

I post on a number of review sites and had never been even suspected of posting something that was not mine. So obviously I thought review stream would be the same as all the other websites I have posted reviews on. I have written close to 1000 reviews and have posted a high percentage of them on multiple sites and have never been blocked or banned.
