they are terrifying - i can't begin to count how many times after watching one i've had to wheel the pet cage into my bedroom, leave the light on and have me mam on speakerphone. so lets sort this out. beginning with the dachshund of the baskervilles (demonic creature leaping across the moors and causing untold damage to ankles), alfred hitchcockes 'the tweets' [thousands of badly trained budgies descend on a house and burble on in a way reminiscent of that very annoying mylot user who i'm not going to mention by name but she is in greece] so which horror film would you clean up - the new title and plot summary would be helpful.

okay....that explains your hatred for roaches.... on a serious note...such movies are only works of fiction...i know that and so do you. so why let such things get on to your nerves? i watch such movies with an open mind and fully aware that it is a fiction. okay there are certain moments in the course of the movie that makes you skip a heartbeat. for that the script and special effects have to be appreciated...and that's it..

hiya. i was joking you know. i appreciate these kind of films (provided it's daytime and there's someone with me of course) and sometimes the ideas produced are very interesting. i have got the world's most pathetic story on reactions to horror films though - and if you want to know what it is just tell me - i'm fairly sure that nobody that knows me in real life is here.

lesson learnt and words washed away. however something tells me that this discussion was a serious one, the seriousness retracted later-on. where else would one get the idea of moving pets in, lights and speakerphone on.?? also there were no kind words for roaches......the matter is put on hold...to be investigated...

Love em. I can't help it. I'll take Hellraiser over Disney any day. I want a movie that not only makes me put my feet up (so whatever might be on the ground won't get me), but that also makes me think. The original version of The Haunting with Julie Harris is superior to the Liam Neeson version. You never see a single ghost, but it is probably the one movie that scared me the most. The affect didn't come from the special effects, but from the great acting. I don't want my horror films "descarified". They wouldn't be worth watching anymore.

Wereing???? I'm not sure what you mean. Wereing as in wolf? Okay, so I'm evil. Deal. It works so great in my writing. Politics and blood.

OK, I'll try, let's see if can manage not to foul it up too badly: Dawn of the Over-Tired where a town is besieged by a bunch of cranky people who need naps. Interview with a Toddler, a terrifying tale of a series of attempted conversations with an illogical two year old who needs a nap and bites people. The only thing that will calm the insatiable monster is a cherry juice box. I'm not too good at this, but I really enjoyed yours!

I got two young children, I think I've been attacked by some slime or another in pretty much every color imaginable!

I'd rather watch it in a horror film than rub up against it in person.

Oh I've actually just remembered a good one, and it was a real horror film, just very B level and not actually horrifying. 'The Green Slime'.

Remember that horror scene in fatal Attraction Judith, the one with the boiling bunny, I'd definitely make sure it was alive before it was dropped in the pan, after being tied in chair and forced to watch 'The Tale of Peter Rabbit'.

Ever see the old animated film "Watership Down"? that bunny movie was very scary to me as a kid! When I got older I read the book, turns out it is an excellent story about the secret lives of bunnies.

Never saw that one. Definitely prefer my bunnies waiting for Mr Mcgregor to come along.

saw it as a child. the song that goes along with the sad bit still actually makes me feel sad. even if it was just about a rabbit.

You afraid the horror scences, right? But I think it doesn't matter. We just share ideas with each other. Then we will know more ideas. And we can have an enjoyment at the same time.Do you agree with me ?
