Drops of rain in the windows, wind in the trees, great colors, a umbrela, walking in the rain, feel cold wind in the hair?
Is autumn a sad season? How much do you like this season?
I adore this season, is something like a big ocean of silence.
Like walking in the rain?
Like to listen rain or wind noise?
Like to stay in house or like just go out and walk walking in the park?
How do you feel in the autumn?

Actually , the autumn in countries where its a fully recognizable season is a very... beautiful one that can make you think... open your mind to a lot of things , make you imagine a lot of different scenes and images... It just has the affect of opening your imagination and your thoughts , so you can fall into deep consideration of your own problems and in the same time relieve you from the tension , because of all the beauty that fills up your eyesight... And in this part of Europe , where I live , autumn is a pretty season that has it`s obvious borders and beauty

Welcome back Ice!
I am really, really pleased to see you back on the pages of the Lot again!
Autumn is the most magical of all the seasons for me. I apreciate it after the heat of the summer which can be too overpowering and when the first dull days come and the temperature drops is when the magic starts. All the leaves start turning to the most beautiful shades of green, brown and red and it is such a beautiful sight to see on the sunny days.
I welcome the rain too which is lighter than that which comes with the torms in the summer. I don't mind walking in the autumn rain and the first weekend in autumn if it is raining is a great excuse to go and drink something hot like chocolate or cappuccino.
I don't find it a sad season at all. It leads us to the Holidays which bring us to a new year and it is the season which hold the best memories for me too.

I would not have worried so much if I knew you were coming back with the autumn! I must remember it for next year if you suddenly go missing again
I see you are busy too. Not sure if I can keep pace with you!

Most people that I know don't like autumn. I think the worst thing about autumn is that it follows on directly from the happy season of summer, and that the season that comes after autumn is winter. I actually quite like colder weather and so I don't mind autumn at all. The main thing I do not like about autumn however is the shortening of the days, and hence the need to get up in the dark in the mornings!

I hate the wet cold the rain makes me alot more work as it causes alot of wet and dirty floors as well as alot more washing. It also puts up the price of all the bills as it gets dark earlier as well as cold so the heating has to go on.The only good bit is that the children think it is late as the nights get darker earlier so they tend to think it is later than it really is.

I myself don't feel that autumn is a sad season. It is quite the opposite for me. I enjoy the fact that the autumn is a time of harvest so fresh food is quite abundant. I really like the fact that the temperature gets a bit cooler and we are able to enjoy the outdoors more. I really like the brilliant colors of the leaves and the fact that we can enjoy some simple pleasures like hot cider and smores. It used to be that I didn't like autumn, but as I've become older it has become far more an enjoyable part of my life than it used to be.

Hi, Ice!
It's been a long time! Glad to see you posting again!
Here in Miami, as usual, it's still hot and sticky, well over 90 degrees. I wish we did have autumn, but it doesn't come here.

I'm sad all year. Because now I don't have anything, job, boyfriend, etc, ... Now I'm too busy for sad. I work all day from Monday to Friday, from 8 AM to 5 PM. In the evening I study Japanese at Monday, Wednesday and Friday and study English at Tuesday and Thursday. At the weekend I study all day. I only have free time at night weekend. But when I have free time, I feel very sad because I'm alone.

I like autumn the changing of the leaves and rain which is just one step away from my favorite season winter. I like the cold weather and the snow. I do not like hot weather.

Hi icesmile..
I love this time of year. I enjoy the chilly mornings and the warm aftenoons. The colors of the trees and seeing the little squirrels playing around. You have a good day...

Malaysia does not have autumn. We have wet, wet, wet days and dry, dry, dry days. Mostly humid, the weather is very unfriendly and you sweat profusely. I think we have autumn in a more dismal way and summer just the same. These days, it pours and many houses are flooded to the thigh level. It is sad because losses can come to the millions!

Hi!
For me autumn is only the ending of the summer. In our region we have only about half a month of summer and the entire 4-5 months of autumn. You just get tired of it. You never know what weather will be outside in couple of hours. It's sun shining in the morning, raining on the afternoon and cold with in the evening.
I never feel comfortable in the autumn because of this weather changes and clothes I have to wear.
Sometimes I just feel like watching out of the window and having that pleasant melancholy, thinking about my life etc. but when this mood chases you for the most time of the year, it makes you really mad.
I'm glad that you find the beauty in the autumn. I wish I was able to do the same.

person's feeling in autumn most likely is very sad if you are at the same time sad too.but even if it's autumn and you are very happy with your love ones there's no reason to say that this season is a time of loneliness

I actually love this time of year. I love all the seasons and the unpredictablity of the weather. I really would not live in an area where the weather is the same all of the time. Rain does not bother me at all. In fact I kind of like it as long as people are not getting flooded out. I know some people are really bothered by the weather and I really don't understand why. There is nothing we can do to change it so we may as well find a way to enjoy it. It beats being miserable.

hi icesmile I dislike it here asits hot and dry and is going to'buil up to the worst wild fire season yet, no rain and the forests are tinder ready to flame with the lease spark. southern california in the fall is no fun for me anyway. I like winter and spring here a lot'vbetter as its cooler and once in a great while we see rain.sad for me this year as I am separated from my son by four miles and the fact that he lost his job. I am stuck in a retirement center and he in g ov.housing paid for by gov so he can live while he looks for work.

I actually like this season. Although it starts to get colder and such, I find that autumn has beauty to it as well, like the leaves changing. I really don't see autumn as a sad season at all. I don't know if it's just me, but it's just not really the way that I see fall.

Unfortunately, where i stay,in Mumbai ,India there is no autumn but we have hot weather throughout the year though it does get cool in Jan to March. I had been to New Jersey,USA in Oct-Nov 1983 and autumn or fall as it is known there had just begun there. It was my first experience and it was simply beautiful and magnificient. The tree leaves changed color from green to brown to russet, gold, orange and red.I stayed in a small town where there were plenty of trees so the whole area was a riot of colors. It was breathtaking. It did rain and the weather was fast turning cold. The skies were gray and there was a solemnness in the atmosphere which i had never experienced before. In India such a time does come in the extreme northern states like Kashmir but i haven`t been there except to Delhi and Shimla, a hill station when the autumn had just ended and winter had begun, so i missed out.

i ADORE autumn....it is my favorite of all the seasons. The only thin i dislike is that it is the harbinger of winter, which i do dislike.
Autumn...what do i love about it? i LOVE the crispness of the air...just a little chilly, chilly enough that you feel the need to add on extra layers of clothing, but not cold and fridgid...i love the smell in the air..so crips and clean. No mugginess, no bugs, no sweating and not being able to cool off. I live in maine and i absolutly LOVE looking at the foilage as it changes color...autumn really makes me appreciate nature and all the beauty out there. I love going for walks on crips autumn nights..just a little chill in the air..the threat of an overnight frost. It is just so refreshing....autumn makes me happy! I am glad i is here and i hope it is a nice long extended season..and that winter holds off bringing all its dreariness to the world.
