Brownie was speared in the head by a foot-long arrow and survived minus one life..

If he was indeed abused, then I think the person who did this should serve time in jail. We don't know how long Brownie suffered with the arrow in his skull.
If accident, then it would be nice if the person came forward and explained how it happened..providing the person even knows they shot Brownie.
What is your take on this? Do you think this poor cat was abused or shot by accident?

Awww that poor baby. Makes me sick to think about it but glad Brownie will be ok. It's real hard for me to say whether or not this cat was abused or if this was an accident. If Brownie is an outside cat and just happened to be out there roaming, anything can happen. He is so lucky it didn't go into his right eye. Hope he has a speedy recovery.

Guess only Brownie and maybe the person that shot him will know the truth unless they come forward and let someone know just what happened to the poor guy. All the comments in the article save for mine talk about him being abused yet noone can know for sure being the article never mentioned it since they are still looking for the person who did this to him.

I pray it wasn't done on purpose either, gabs. Poor Brownie suffered needlessly till he was found and received the proper treatment. Luckily, the vet was able to remove the arrow without further damage.

Awww--poor Brownie. I saw that photo of him with the arrow still in his head and it's a wonder he survived at all. As for him being shot on purpose...lets face it, there are a lot of sickos in the world that think its a game to harm an animal--if they catch the person, maybe they should shoot him with an arrow

I think i have responded a smilar discussion on this one. am glad that the cat survives, i wonder what the person is thinking, probably misplace the glasses and mistook the cat for a deer. i don't know if it's accident or done in purpose, but either way he'll be punished for sure

Probably not a deer but maybe a squirrel, rabbit, or some other small animal. With Brownie's coloring, he can blend right in with the leaves and other undergrowth in the woods if this is where the incident took place.
