Will you be sorry for something you never did?

I always end up saying sorry to someone though I never really did the wrong thing. It's just that I don't wanna hurt him/her back. Sometimes it's quite tiring to be the one who's sorry in the end though you were not the one who started the fight. Is this good? Have you ever done this too? Thanks.

Yes jefly, I am the queen of sorry! I am always apologizing for things that I know I didn't do and I usually accept the blame for things that I didn't do. I don't know why I do it but at times it does frustrate me and I ask myself all the time.....now why did you say sorry to that? No I do not think it is good and there is no doubt some very deep rooted reason why we do it. It probably has something to do with low self esteem in my case.

Hmm.. I think we are dealing with the same thing: low self-esteem. I guess you're right. We just admit things though we are not the main reason why bad things happen. Thanks a lot.

If there's no need in saying sorry, you don't have to. Though in the family, once we had a misunderstanding with our elders, whether we're at fault or not, we have to say sorry, as a sign of respect. By just talking to them even not saying sorry, will make them feel better.
