What would you do when power is gone?

After I entered into the college ,I had met power gone for many times.At first,I would pick a book ,and started to read.But it was so hot in summer.I could not make myself calm down.In that case ,I would randon around the campus.That is what only I can do without power.What would you do if the power is gone?

If the power goes down during the day, there a re many things one can do... I prefer reading too. It's more complicated if the power goes off in the evening, when there is not enough daylight to read. Then, I usually play backgammon on my cellphone, or play cards in the candlelight.
