Beautiful Skirt Won't Fit My Fat Butt

Why do we girls buy clothes that are too small? I have a beautiful golden skirt that I have never worn before in my life. Why? It doesn't fit now, and it never has. I have kept this skirt for YEARS just thinking, "one day..." Recently I have realized that, pretty though it is, it really doesn't even come close to fitting me. Today I gave it away, but not in a sad way. After all, I can accept myself. Anyone relate?

i'm not a girl but i can relate about clothes not fitting. You see i'm very skinny so i always have trouble finding clothes that are small enought to fit me. so i can sort of relate.

I have a skirt just liek this!! I seriously do the same thing. The last few months I have been losing weight actually I'm about 15lbs from that skirt so I'm A LOT closer than I was before. It's going to happen. But yeah I have a lot of friends who buy clothes too small for them that end up just sitting in the closet forever. Its not cute. We should lose the weight then get the clothes.
