With Adebayor banned for the match, Man Utd looks to be in the advantage. However, Man City squad looks good and with depth. Just look at the match against Arsenal. Will Man City beat Man Utd to prove that their squad has the depth to win the league?

It's always been am impression of mine that Man City always gave Man Utd a headache, but I'm looking at the results of the Man Utd - Man City right now and City only won once, in 2007-2008, so I guess all their victories I remember must have been in the Man City - Man Utd matches...
Here's how the statistics look like:
Man. United 2-0 Man. City Premier League 2008/2009
Man. United 1-2 Man. City Premier League 2007/2008
Man. United 3-1 Man. City Premier League 2006/2007
Man. United 1-1 Man. City Premier League 2005/2006
Man. United 0-0 Man. City Premier League 2004/2005
Man. United 3-1 Man. City Premier League 2003/2004
Man. United 1-1 Man. City Premier League 2002/03
Man. United 1-1 Man. City Premier League 2000/01
Man. United 1-0 Man. City Premier League 1995/96
Man. United 5-0 Man. City Premier League 1994/95
Looking at the information above, United should win the match, or at least get a draw. I think City is a better team this season more than ever in the past 20 years, but that's not necessarily bad for United. I think just because City is better now, United will pay much more attention and focus better on the match.
I think United will win by a goal (1-0 or 2-1), but the draw is also pretty probable.

Wow. Incredible stats! I think Man City do not have enough firepower upfront due to injury and the ban. United will win narrowly, thanks to the tough defense for City.
