Invariably I play the music loud in my car, and I do sing along the lyrics. There is a favorite play list of songs which I usually play and just sing along, I don't care if there are others too in my car or not. The same goes when I listen to music at home, I just keep on humming along, and if I am in that good of a mood I may just burst my lungs out.
Do you sing along? Do you love to keep your lips running along with the lyrics, whether in the car or at your home or anywhere else? Do share.

I hate to say it, but I'm not humming anything right now. It's too late in the night to be singing. LOL

Wow Really? Do you even remember what dress you were wearing when you danced to a music 30 years back? Wow.
Music do make me remember about the past. A couple of years back there was this song which grabbed my attention, and I used to sing it all the time. Now, whenever that music reaches my ear either being played in a radio station, or in an old juke box the memories flood back. yes, music does invoke so many emotions.
Ah! one thing more, if you have such a strong memory power, now I know why the elephants in Africa are blushing .

Hi Angel,
I would loved to have mentioned that thing in this discussion. Some songs do bring back some fond memories and hence have an emotional connection. Good thing that you mentioned. And it is indeed fun. You seem to be a very lively person

I do sing along, indeed, but I do that softly if other persons are with me. That way, the people who want to hear the actual voice of the singer are also not hampered. If the song also is a soft one, then I usually just lip-sync along with it. If I am listening to music on my iPod, then I usually just lip-sync along with it. I learn the full songs by heart if I like them, so singing along is never a problem for me. Cheers.

Hi Abhi,
many a times my freinds complain to let the singer sing and ask me not to sing so loud in the car. but I won't budge. I love to sing and so I will. Good to know that you are so considerate.
Cheers man.

Love singing along with the song even if I do sometimes get the lyrics wrong. At home, I even turn the volume up and just sing my heart out as I do the daily tasks around the house, makes those tiresome tasks so much easier for me. Even in the public transport I may sing but not too loud if I like the song that much.

Hi,
That is very much like me. I even sing in the public transports but yes i won't sing loudly there and embarrass myself .
Yes, and I do agree that singling helps you to keep your mind active and the daily mundane work is not that boring anymore. Thanks for sharing.

Hi bodhisatya, well yes!i love to sing along, especially when i am on some drive or travelling and i got my favourite music to play along. But i got conditions like i will only be doing this if i am at my good mood or else i hardly will listen to good songs if i am sad or angry.Otherwise i really love to sing songs and i know all the lyrics of my favourite songs so that there is no need of another paper in my hand.:)

Hi Archie,
maybe you should try to sing when the mood isn't that good. it helps to vent out I guess.
Just a suggestion.
And yup, I remember my fav songs all by heart. Which one are you singinging right now?

Oh yes, I do love to sing along! I really like singing, but I only do it when I'm by myself or at home. I'm really shy about singing when there's other people listening, even though I know I'm not very bad. Singing relieves me from stresses and I have a lot of fun trying to imitate the singers' voices.

Hey you do that too... I love to imitate my favorite singer's voice, and I think I am quite good at it. Singing is beautiful it conveys a lot and it reflects what emotions are reigning deep inside you. Thanks a lot for sharing.

I usually sing J-pop songs, because they are my favourite. The band I sing along with is Buono! You might not know them, but they are really awesome. I like to imitate them because my voice actually manage to sound like them.
