Regrets in life - Have you ever walk the wrong path?

In this world, there is always problems occuring in their lives. People always tend to say that life is always full of hardness and problems. There isn't any easy ways out in doing things. In addition, people always have to make decisions in their lives between many roads. I have walked down a path where there is no return at all. This is because time never stops for us as time is precious as gold. I felt very emberassed every time i think about my age getting older day by day while I am frustrated with myself for not able to put much effort on myself in the past. In the past, when i was doing my secondary school studies, I did not even put a single effort in my studies when I should have at all. I could have study hard and be working at this moment to earn money for my parents. In the past, all i have ever done is play the whole day and think nothing about the future. By the time i reach my college educations, I choose to study computer science as my course. It was quite a stupid choice for I had choosen it just because that a lot of my friends joined in. When time flies, only I discover that this course does not interest me at all. I have been ups and downs in the whole time and at the end i stopped half way and never completed the course itself. I felt very emberassed as I used up almost RM50k of my parents money as end up not doing anything. It was such a big waste of precious time and money. Now, at this moment, I am doing a new course quantity surveying. I might have some interest in this course and doing it fine for now but I always think of the past why I have chosen the wrong course. What makes me feel more sad is when my parents always talk about me for not earning money and spending money. I know i had chosen the wrong path and time could not be turn back. Therefore i always had been chasing back of time and study harder every time. Although I am not sure whether this is the right path for me, but I will try my best to walk through this path with my best effort. I do not want to dissapoint my parents anymore in my life. Last but not least, I would like to thank my parents for always supporting me financially and mentally although sometimes they do grumble me. I have wasted 4 years of my life, how bout yours??
