I don't think people can know what the future holds. That's the point of living our lives is to see where it goes. If we already knew...then what's the fun in it?

thatz the reason why we donn know our future....we juss try to predict it thru astronomers...but still v donn carry ourselves based on it...coz of the simple reason that we donn rely on thier predictions...astronomy helps to build up our confidence levels..nothing more than that

That's beauty of nature. We crave to see our future but there is just no way. There is always tension and we always have a choice. I think if we know it already, there is nothing to look forward to. The life would be boring and dull.

To me astrology, or tarot or palmistry, etc, isn't so much about predicting or knowing the future, as it is in trying to find keys to whats going on, or the future or whatever question it is that's being asked. I believe as far as predicting, it's more a pointing out of trends at work or coming up..

People can know the trend in future. It helps to take necessary precautions to reduce the impact of an event. A person unexpectedly meeting an event some times is overwhelmed with sorrow .If he knows he will be facing acalamity and the precautions to be taken he will be prepared for it. I will give you atrue incident. One construction engineer was warned by an astrologer that his life will be indanger during aspecific period. He was given a (mantra) a chant which could protect his life. The engineer did the chant regularly.During the specified period he went to a cement godown and when he was under a stack and counting a heap of 50 cement bags fell on him.his assistants came running and removed the bags. None expected him to be alive.Miraculously the breath was still there and he was rushed to the hospital and saved.
