My uncle had a lady who madly in love with him but he is already married with a daughter and is not interested with her. She is so persistent and would not let go but stalks him at the office and home, she even said that if she would not be able to have him, no one else will have him. What's your advise?

Hello, I too have come across facts about some ladies madly in love with married men irrespective of the fact that the man have children also. They simply put money presssure on him to marry him. This man should consider his family only and try to reasonout with this lady. He should a make her realise how much he loves his family and for no reason he will leave them. Ifnothing works I feel he should leave the place with his family if it is suitable and not allow tha mad lover to know about his whereabous

Leaving is a good option but it entails finding a new house, new job (which is not that easy), and children transferring school. But considering the threat to life, options are limited. Have you heard of the news of embittered lovers who barged into family reunions and started shooting one after the other?

2timothy, You uncle seems to be in a very unusual situation and I am sure there must have been some circumstances that might have led to such a stage for the both of them. Lest, the other party is having some lunacy issue, I feel that your uncle might have been consciously or sub consciously led this to happen. If it is a simple crush, I feel that your uncle should be letting the family know about this current situation so that his wife at least will not be left and caught out. Communicate with the family is indeed important here. Being situational, I think it would be best that everyone who knows the both of them be engaged to help out and beyond that, I suppose we do not have much choice but to engage the law to look into the matter. Have a nice day.

The law would be helpful if they would act immediately but would not unless they investigate first and be convinced it requires their protection (if ever they can protect), but there is the risk of the other party finding out beforehand and may get everything out of hand.

I think before an investigation could actually be convened, the victim (your uncle) will have to produce valid evidence that he is being at threat and genuinely under duress. Also, law enforcements do not offer protection literal sense, with proof the aggressor will be arrested and charged. So, again, your uncle will have to do the needful.
