an officemate just sent a message on the cellphone saying they are boarding now and they are off to hongkong for a week. she didnt spend anything. everything was shouldered by her sister who i was told earns very well online. its going to be a one whole week vacation for them. how lovely. they got a ticket for only 7thousand pesos round trip each. its a promotion by one airline here and is really very very good offer. she said they will go to disneyland and i wish next time i have the cash i could go too. but i need a companion. who wants to come along?

Hi there,
I have been to Hong Kong twice, first time the Disneyland wasn't there and second trip, I got the chance to go Disneyland. Many people say Hong Kong Disneyland is so small compare to others Disneyland. But for me, Hong Kong Disneyland is still acceptable though it is small, and the visitors isn't as much as other Disneyland like the one in Tokyo! The lesser visitors is good if you think this way, you don't need to queue for too long to get your turn to get all those riding.
They are different theme for Disneyland. If you go some where few month ago, maybe you could only see all the decorations and stuff that are selling is all related to Hallowen. But if you go in November onwards, you get the chance to meet Santa claus and Christmas tree,
Your office mate is lucky to have such a generous sister to pay for everything. By the way what online jobs is the sister doing and I bet she is earning very well from the internet!

Hi again,
Your officemate is thoughtful... I always happy to receive souvenirs from friends and family where they bring the gift for me far from their travel destination.
I remember I bought a number of things at Disneyland Hong Kong, most of the stuff are for my daughter. She was only a few months old when I off to Hong Kong. Now she is 3 years old and she see my Hong Kong Disneyland trip pictures, she is so excited to see mummy take picture with those Cartoon Characters ...
She is asking me to bring her to Disneyland too.

Hi ann, I'd love to go, but I don't think my wife would be too happy, so I'll have to pass. Good luck.

Hi Ann! It is a good thing that there are lots of Airline Promos nowadays. I know your friend and her sister will enjoy their stay in HongKong. I've been to HongKong twice but haven't gone to Disneyland. The first time we went there, Disneyland wasn't build yet but we went to Ocean Park which is pretty enormous and enjoyable. Last year, we went to HongKong Central but we arrived there at almost one in the afternoon and decided not to go to Disneyland anymore because we have to go back to Macau since we are staying at a hotel there.

count me in. ha ha. 7 thousand is pretty cheap already. but sometimes you can get it cheaper too. i can pay for that airfare. ha ha. but i don't have enough money for every thing else like food and place to stay. i hope i get to earn more money to be able to travel to hong kong but the main problem is i have no one to accompany just like you.

Hi Tigeraunt,
Hongkong is a nice place for shopping.I been there twice and I love Hongkong.
Although I have a language problem to talk with the local people there, but I still go ahead with my shopping. I try to speak in Mandarin or English with local people there. However, some of the Hongkees don't understand English or Mandarin. They can only communicate in Cantonese.
The first time I went there is with my friend,by tour. Only 5 days tour and we stay in a hotel.
The second time I went there is with my husband (that time he is still my boyfriend). We stay in a hostel and have our own free and easy days for about 10 days in Hongkong . We explore more places that time. We even been to Macau by taking ferry from Hongkong and we just need a map and ask people when we lost our ways.
When I was in hOngkong for the second time, Disneyland is not up yet. So I only been to Ocean Park,The Peak and other places.
I wish to bring my son to Hongkong to visit Disneyland. Need to start my saving and hope in the next 2 years,my dream will come true!

Hi my friend Ann. I expect that your office mate is having an excellent time in lovely Hong Kong. I remember my trip there in 2000. I stayed at the youth hostel on the top of Mount Davis. Hong Kong is a pricey flight from where I live of a 14 hour duration. When you go there I hope that you and your companion will have a superb time.

hi maxi,
i remember my officemate talking of hostel too. she had a lot of maps and list to do (and probably list of things to shop). she said that it would be so much help because they dont have a guide and since most people there do not speak english, she is afraid of being lost. she was even joking that she will call on the president to help her go home if that happens.
thank you for sharing your experience.

Wow... that is great... my daugther was asking me for a trip to Hong Kong Disneyland... i searched online on how much it would cost... and i found out that a trip for two for 3 - 5 days is just to expensive... i just have to wait for some promos to come up...
But then one airline that flies here in my place to Kota Kinabalu, Malaysia offered a promo that i couldn't resist... it was like $20 round trip ticket for one person... so i immediately bought two tickets using my online earning... then i still have time to save for hotel and pocket money because the flight that i booked is for April of next year... Kota Kinabalu is not Hong Kong... but good enough for me and my daughter...

Hey, Thanks! I would love to come along with you but not without my own money, and presently I have no money in my pocket. Can you find out how your friend earns so much online, and let me know? I would really love to know!!
