last week i have a vacation in my hometown and i am happy that i was able to spend most of my days with my parents and my brother... also, i am happy that i got a chance to meet with my college friends! its more than five years since the last time we saw each other...and so on that day that we meet, we just go to the mall and eat a lot and just go to every shop that we saw...hehe doing window shopping... haha and also we talk so much as if there will be no more tomorrow and i really feel the happiness with each other and the excitement upon sharing our stories...and i noticed that in all of us, it looks like nothing have really changed except in our appearance! haha...coz the way we talk to each other even if we already lost contact in the last few years are just the same like the old times! so how about you? have you ever experience something or do something that make you say to yourself that ooops...this is just like the old times...

Good for you. I think you are lucky enough to have that chance. You know what? I've been longing to have a union with my best friends before. Even just one of them. But to no avail, I failed to have that chance...I was thinking of some other ways to look for them...thanks for responding...

Hi ckyera, Aren't such time wonderful? It's always good to be able to return home to visit family and friends and just to turn back the clock, so to speak. I remember the occasions that I had to do that and it was always so great. Now most of my family and friends have passed on but there are still a few around and we just love to talk about these days when we were all younger. Blessings.

Looks like it's a fruitful trip for u huh?? Being able to contact and see everybody who u had lost contact over the last few years.. hehe Maybe u should have stayed there longer, and why back so fast?? haha =D IT's understandable with all those non stop talking/chatting, because all of u are trying to squeeze in 5 years of conversation into just 1 week!! haha =D I will never say that, just like the old times, because i'm not that old!! Just kidding.. hehe ^_^ Though my frenz and all wont say it, but we can feel it.. IT's like a gathering and meeting up of frenz, talking about the present, and the future, but never forgetting about the past too.. haha =D It's the past, which brings us together, and thus, we do talk about it naturally.. hehe

yes it is! even if the whole time i am there is always raining it don't stop me to enjoy that short vacation... well, i really wanted to stay there longer but i just can't for my time is really limited and i have a husband here waiting and needs me...hehe and i also have many responsibilities here...so i am just thankful that i was able to have a vaction even a short one... well, we don't squeeze that 5 years of conversation into 1 week...we do it in just 1 day! haha because of course they also have their works...we just really make it a point that we get that one day and make everybody available for that day for us to be together! well, yes we talk about everything, about the present, the future and the past! but the most enjoyable thing to talked about is the past! hehe and that's the one that really bring us laughter...remembering those things that we have done in the past and even talking about our other classmates before...

Seems like that trip is worth it huh?? Among the sadness, u managed to find happiness in it too.. hehe Your husband needs u, so do your family members.. haha =D BUt i guess your hubby 'needs' u more.. lol =D MAking everybody available, that will be quite hard to do it.. hehe ^_^ I have tried a couple of times, trying to get all of my frenz to meet up at the same day andtime, there will always be one spoiler whom cant make it due to some other reasons.. lol =D I do like talking about the past too.. Even though it's over, but still, our memories are still fresh.. haha =D

To me life changed a lot. Last may I visited my hometown I found I almost lost in the small area. Everything seems change, even the name of streets. People in a small town like change because the life there is too quiet and boring. So any change can make them feeling excited. It’s sad the school I studied there for 6 years disappeared and new supermarket was built there. I tried to find the place where I played with my friends, but I just found a big parking area. Some of my friends are not familiar any more. I don’t think we can know each other if we see on street.

hello sblossom! oh that was sad...but i also noticed that in my hometown...its not like before, now its more populated and really lots of changes in the whole town...anyway, my hometown have been declared as a city already and so its really normal that many establishments has been built there...and the farms are disappearing little by little... but why is that so? don't you have any communication with your friends anymore? well i think i am luckier in this coz, in a place where i was born, i can still find some of my friends even from my elementary and highschool years... thanks for sharing.

I am married for ten years and have been living with my little son in my husband's home. I have been very happy there, until things started going wrong and my husband decided that he wants a divorce. Now I have shifted into my mother's house where I grew up from a child to a teenager. It seems to me as if I have come back into time. Nothing has changed. I feel happy and sad at the same time, but it is nice and quite and I believe I am in the place that will Make my destiny. I love my family and am hoping to do a job and earn well. Yep!! but it is nice to come down to the ground (I feel that I was flying till now) and experience the ground realities of life!!

hello there! sorry to hear about what happen to your 10 years marriage... but its nice to hear that you are back in your mom's place...and i know that being in a place where we grow or where we spend our child and teenage years can really brings back the old times...for we have lots of memories there...at least it will make you happy at times...and there's really no place like home... i wish for you to moved on with your life, find a job for yourself and live happily with your son...and continue to be strong for your family... thanks for sharing...

I really admire you that you have that choice to go home to meet you parents and your college friends. You said you experience something just like the old times. I also have that feeling sometimes when come cross some my best friends,we will just walk to talk our experience ,the tough story or the happiness in our life to share. But on the other hand,I realize the person except my best friends, they are changing, the feeling is different from the time when we studying in university. I think everyone is changing, just best friends choose to give you the old ways to treat you, right?

hello leo! well yes, changes will always be there...but i just don't know, but that's what all of us feel that time...that seems like nothing have change! hehe well, of course the way we talk to each other changed a little for we are more mature now, but treatment with each other is just the same...or maybe we are really that close when we are in college and we have shared many memories during those days... but anyway, its always nice to be with our friends right? and talk about those memories that we have shared in the past... thanks leo for sharing and welcome to mylot...
