I actually live in Mexico so what can I say. Unfortunatelly the country has been struck in several bad ways due to bad people that we don't need here or anywhere else in the world. It has been a struggle for some years already, and since we depend economically in a major way from the United States, their issues affected us as well. Hopefully things are starting to get better, I do some online sales and really like working with people from the States, I enjoy the recreational trips I sometimes take to California, very clean and beautiful cities there. I think I missed the point of the discussion but in a phrase or two, I do love my country.

I've never been to Mexico, but I would like to visit. A lot of people say you shouldn't drink the water which I won't do if I ever go there. I have a very compromised immune system. Creepy crawlers in my digestive tract would not be on my agenda.

I have been there many times mostly just near the border though but, Im excited because I am going to Palenque for the holidays and I am excited to see the "real" mexico I want to see the ancient ruins and museums mostly but we will be gone almost 2 weeks and I am going with very experienced travelers so I'm sure we will be able to cover a lot of ground and see alot of great culture.

I havent been to mexico, but I would like to go there sometime in the next few years. I have heard a lot about the country and seen a lot about their culture and food on television. I know a person from there and he has also recommended going there. I dont think now is the best time to travel though due to the swine flu outbreak. Hopefully things get back to normal soon.

It's pity that I've never been to Mexico before. My impression is that Mexcico has a long history of civilization. There used to be two Indian civilizations in Mexico - Aztec and Maya. Actually I'm quite interested in these two civilizations for there are too many unsolved mysteries. Then Mexico was influenced by Spanish culture for a long time, which was melted with local culture. In modern era Mexico held 1968 Olympic Games and two World Cup football games. The above are all I know about Mexico. Wish some day I could visit Mexico to feel its unique culture.

I really like Mexico and have been there twice now. I especially enjoyed seeing Talum. I saw the beautiful Mayan ruins by the sea. I stayed in a thatched beach hut. I carried on to Belize and Northern Guatemala. Since I came home I have begun learning Spanish.

I think that Mexico it`s a great pleace, and with a lot of traditions . When i heared for the first time, i think that i was 7 years old , and i heared in cartoons on cartoonnetwork . There were some cartoons with a mouse that was saying andale..andale..ariba..ariba , i think it was speedy gonzales, or someting like that . And i know that hot ketchup too that in cartoons made thouse to throw flames . But now, i think that Mexico it`s a great place for visiting, but not now, because of that H1N1 virus witch camed from Mexico . It`s dangerous now to go there, and i think that the autorities can`t let you go there until all will be ok there.

I love Mexico, have been there in 1998. We visited Cancun (barely), Playa del Carmen and Cozumel island. Lovely beaches, friendly people and good food. The most impressive thing I did there was climbing the Chichen-Itza (this ancient Mayan temple) which was so high. I had no problem climbing it and did not realize that it was so steep until I reached the top. I had to go back down literally on my behind. There were ropes to support those who are going down and prevent somebody from falling. I swore I will never do that again. The view up there is fantastic but when I look down, I had the impression that I would actually fall and had so many butterflies in my tummy.
