Have you made real friends on mylot. Like you meet them so often

in real life and not just by giving them messages on their inbox. I have not made real friends yet. someone that i met on real life . but i am quite interested to do so. but i think it is not possible i would meet one that will be interested to meet though. if ever why not. not for romantic relationship. but for something to help each other out. like to share interest like hobby and etc.
I have read some people get to find real friend . like they were able to meet in real life. cause their location is not far from each other. and it is not really big deal if they meet.
But have it crossed your mind too that you would meet someone here who you could be romantically involve with also.

Can it happen? I mean the reverse could be true when you can make your friends come on myLot and be your friends but getting friends from myLot to meet, seems very difficult for me.
For me, I have one friend from myLot from my state but I didn't know her and didn't ask her to meet or something like that because I know when I would do that she will be away from me on myLot too!

yeah it seems really impossible. but it is only possible if both parties are willing to be honest and show more personal pictures so that they can get to know each other more.

and i must add that they must build trust. and to build that trust that they should be honest in every thing like they are able to show proof of their identity. i know if we are really honest and want other people to know us we can prove that we are honest and take away the doubt of people so that they can be able to trust and be willing to meet us.

I dont know yet because I am new to this mylotting and have been trying to make friends just to increase my friends list. Hopefully I will find friends who are like my real friends too. But most of the time we see people trying to make online. SO am not sure if they really want to be friends with a stranger.

yeah me too. i just keep adding friends on my list here. but none became close friends even just online. but that is the way it is, at least we are participating and enjoying our time here.

Yes I sure have! I live in the states, North Carolina to be exact and hubby and I went to Georgia to see the aquarium that they have there and while down there, I wanted to meet another mylotter, OreoCookie, and we did! We all went to the aquarium together and had a fantastic time! I would love to meet a lot of others and will some day, God willing! As for a romantic relationship, be very very careful sweetie because there are a lot of freaks out there that aren't out there for the same reasons as you are or would be. If you ever meet someone for those reasons, always always meet them at a public place so that nothing goes wrong. Good luck!!

that is real nice to hear that a mylotter meeting happened between you guys and that started real friendship. so how was it. what were the things that you did beside going to the aquarium . are you still able to meet from time to time or chat from time to time. did it help you in any way when you get to know each other personally.
about meeting someone romantically i am not really that keen on that any more cause i know that there are lots of people who have bad intentions and it is hard to know people just talking to them online. and also i don't like meeting them alone i would want to be in a group and as you said in a public place when i do that.

It went really well! We're both females so no romantic thing going on. I'm married anyway. lol Hubby and I went to her house and picked her up and we all went to the aquarium which was an hours drive away and we spent hours inside looking at all the different fish that the aquarium had. We talked, we laughed and site seeing in the aquarium. Then we took her home for it was getting late and we had the long drive home which was 5 - 6 hours. Now we chat online on yahoo or we talk every now and then over the phone. It's great!! I even talk over the phone with a few others too that I haven't met in person yet but hope to some day.

nope, I haven't. the truth is I didn't stay long to meet friends much more hangout and chat with them, but now that I plan to be a better Mylotter, I hope to find online friends who can then turn to be my real life buddies. Like you, I heard and read a few stories that tells of a good relationship between online friends and I am happy for them, I don't know though if the idea is for everyone, some people could have been lucky to find the right ones online but then not everyone have the same luck. Different strokes for different folks.

that thing does not work well with me. to some people it really does. i guess it just depends on luck sometimes.
