Being on Mylot has got me typing alot quicker what about you?

Yes, i agree. Mylot helps me to type quicker. Before I don't care to type using home key. But after I was transferred to different department at work I finally decided I have to type using home key. My work was consist of different reporst and encoding that is why I studied to tpe faster. I downloaded a typing test online adn even bought CD fro me to developed typing even faster. Mylot on the other hand helped to type faster because of our discussion here. It is much better to express ourselves if we will not look on keyboard to find the letter applicable for the words we are using here. Mylot helps a lot.

hi jugsjugs, when i started coming online about 5 years back i was very slow in tying and had to see all the words on the keyboard to type and sometimes i had to find alphabets on the keyboard before i can press it but then we friends started to come on yahoo chat and then my typing increased leaps and bound and by the time i came to mylot i could type reasonably fast and now dont have to look at the keyboard to type.

Yes, it happens to me as well. Everytime I type, whether here or another application, I realize I type quicker than before. =)

Hi Jugs......I haven't really noticed a change. I never took typing in school so I have no idea what finger is suppose to hit what key...I just use the one closest to the letter I need..lol I am sure that being on MyLot could help typist that have had training to increase their speed and accuracy. I have just never worried about how fast I type as much as the words I say. flutterby

I started to type faster because of social networking sites some 5yrs ago. At that time I was actively involved with those sites & hence my typing speed increased. After coming to myLot, the speed helped me to type faster however there are still mistakes made by me & I still can't type with out looking. Happy Lotting

Oh I see , why you are saying that. By now you must have definitely posted more than 1000 responses which will add up to your typing skills. Though I am new to this mylotting I still feel thats true that we learn to type faster.

My typing speed has always been fast. My only setback is letting my nails get too long. They get in the way and cause me to make typos. Like the old saying, "practice makes perfect" applies here. Keep up the good work.

Yes, I do type more quickly from being online in general, not just from MyLot. I guess from typing in user names, writing emails, and, yes, of course, MyLot as well, it has improved my speed of typing.

Yes, I have noticed that I'm typing a lot more quickly. I've definitely noticed a difference. Maybe not a huge difference, but I've definitely seen an improvement in my typing. I seem to be able to do it more quickly.

Hi jugsjugs, yah I did noticed that and I've only been here for just around two weeks. I guess, it's because if you keep on typing too slow you'll be missing a lot of the best discussion here. And I'm just not enjoying it, I'm totally getting addicted to mylot. lol And partly of course you get to memorize the keys more.hehe

Me too. After i have been on here , my typing speed is horribly increase , and spelling errors are decreased . That's good. My lot gave me so many experience for life and social life and .. I love my lot so much.. My lot is my second home.
