My Daughter is 13 months and is not walking yet. She can stand without help but won't walk. Her doctor said not worry tell after she is 1 and half years old. I saw the shoes on sale for 29.99 with free shipping at Amazon. So should I get them or what? Advice please!!! And if you have kids what are some of your experience. They say it takes a villages to raise a child so I am asking Mylot village for help.LOL

I say it's totally up to you about the shoes. If you practice walking outside with her, it could be good to protect her feet (especially on hot days when sidewalks can be hot). Otherwise, barefeet is fine . . . it builds up the little muscles in their feet and they can "feel" what they're walking on.
My daughter walked independently at 14 months. And she didn't get behind physically . . . in fact she passed the boys the same age in her gym class soon enough - running and jumping, not a problem. But before then, we too had our concerns because all the other kids around us were walking around from months before.
We had a friend who's daughter did not walk til 16 months. She was fine later on too!
Sometimes it takes a little bit of motivation too. We'd put her favorite toy on the other side of the room or even just a few feet away - just so she'd want to go get it :) Best of luck!

Every child is different and not walking at 13 months old is actually pretty common. My daughter walked when she was 9.5 months old, but my son didn't walk until he was 13 months old. As far as the idea of buying the shoes for her, that would be up to you. She is still at an age that her feet are growing rapidly so they really won't fit her for very long. Additionally, a lot of doctors say that babies walk easier without shoes than while wearing shoes because their feet are able to bend more easily than with shoes on.
