Who has been a hero in your life and inspired you to be a better person or to achieve
some of your goals? Have you told them what they mean to you, if they are close to you?

I have a couple heros in my life but one of the major ones is my mom. She has lived through a lot but still keeps looking at the bright side of things. She tries so hard to make sure all of her kids and people around her have everything they need. She is getting older but still works her butt of everyday just to make sure we are o.k. I do tell her how much I think of her but I dont think she realizes how much she really means to me.

..Hi irishgirl17, thanks for commenting. It is always good if we share with the special people in our lives, how much they mean to us. You are very expressive in your writing, why not take the time to write a poem to your mom, it does not have to rhyme, it can be free verse. Type it on an 8 x 11 sheet of paper, and maybe frame it
for her, she will love it. Our lives are filled with so much, and your mom is a giving person, so words are listened too but not always heard. Put it in writing, she will read it again and again. Take care.

heroes in my life...hmmm okay, the first person that comes into my mind upon reading this is my grandmother who have passed away about five years ago...she has been the hero in my life for she's the one that really inspires me...she's the one who pushes me to finish my education...actually she's my motivation in doing it so...and she's the one who supported me during those days that i am so down because of the situation in our family...she is really a kind hearted and loving grandmom to me and who is willing to sacrifice anything for her loved ones...i think she is not just a hero for me but as well as to our whole family!
and the next one that i think is a hero in my life is my husband! yes, just like my grandmom, he's also there during those hard times in my family, he supported me and lift me up...and helps me strengthen my relationship to God and teach me to hold on my faith and do not lose hope...i think, he's also an instrument that God use to make my family better...yes, since i marry him, everything in my family have changed...my troublesome family before is now a family living in peace and harmony and living happily...
i am also thankful that he have accepted me for who i am and accepted my family and gives me his unconditional love and understanding...
its just sad that i was not able to say to my grandmom that she's my hero that time...but i know that she knew it and i am happy that i was able to let her feel how much i love her and how important she is in our lives before she left us...
and with my husband, well...sometimes i was able to tell it to him...but not in that really serious way...hehe

...Hi ckyera, thanks for your very nice response, you are funny taking about your husband. You had a very special grandmother and you were blessed to be in her company. Your husband sounds like a blessing to you as well. Consider if you haven't already, doing something special for your husband, with just the two of you, he will be tickled. Tell your grandmom your prayers, she will hear you. Take care always.

...Hi Archie0, thanks for your response, I am sure you have let your parents know you appreciate what they do for you, although, if you are still living at home, parents take it as a responsible to do those things for you. Do tell the every now and then, "thank you". Take care always.

..Hi killersss, Thanks for your response. Now, that is beautiful, but don't you think you will hate yourself if you don't share with him how much he means to you?
Let me make a suggestion if you would allow me, write him a letter and tell him in the letter, mail it if you want, I think I would leave it for him to see it, mail sometimes gets lost. Tell him, time is an illusion and it is passing, don't, and you may cry your eyeballs out. Make your dad feel special. Take care.
