To answer your topic question, yes, you can earn without having to start a discussion. It doesn't matter if you're posting a discussion, response, or comment. As long as your posting you will earn. How much you earn depends on the length and quality of your posts. Copying and pasting the same answers won't help. What I do is when I see an interesting topic, I read it and then leave a comment and if I see someone respond to my comment, I will respond to them back if I have something to say.

Lamb is right. You can actually get paid more by just commenting than posting. The more comments you gmake the more your participation increases. If you post and no one comments it does not increase.

Here you can earn more if you start discussions because if you start a good discussion you will receive lots of responses.When you comment back to each and every response you can earn.If you rate the discussions you find good from there you can earn.Marking a person best response is another way of earning.If you are tired of starting discussions you can respond to others discussion.It is the quality of the discussion that helps you earn.Also your daily activity in mylot will help you earn more.

We can earn for not posting any discussion, my friend. But make sure you give comments in all the discussion you found in here. That what i am doing, friend. Am not regularly post any discussion. Am just only post one or two discussion in my interest. Have a nice day!

there are people who does not like starting their own discussions and would prefer to respond instead... earnings can come from commenting back and forth... you can d o the tasks if you like... or you can upload images....

No-one knows for sure how our earnings are calculated here or how much we get for starting a discussion, answering a discussion etc.. It's a big secret! However, I believe, from what people say, and from watching my earnings, that you probably earn about the same from starting a discussion as you do to replying to a discussion. (For both, you need to make sure that your answers are relevant, make sense, and at least four or five lines long - but you probably know that already given your number of postings!) You don't earn very much when you reply to comments that other people have written on your discussions. But it's always nice to, just like you would if it were a spoken conversationg - and people are more likely to reply in the future if you respond to what they write. (Although I'm sometimes guilty of not always replying to everyone when I don't get enough time. ) Happy myLotting!

Yeah but not as much as you would if you posted a discussion. It all depends how soon you want to reach the payout limit. A few weeks or a couple of years. If I only posted comments and not posted any discussions then I would be waiting along time to get paid. As now I just reached a dollar, whoohoo, only because I mainly respond to a discussion then start one myself.

I think you get more for creating a discussion and responding, but that doesn't mean you can't earn by just responding. It really just depends on what you prefer. Good luck!

yugassini yes you will earn if you created 1 discussion and have respond in your discussion yes you will money if you post 1 discussion them important is have respond in your discussion, me i created 30 discussion a day but now i change my style i focus on respond on the discussion because i created discussion 30 discussion but my earning is so small i will not give amount, now i focus on answering discussion sometimes i created discussion i create 1 or 2 discussion but sometimes i will not created discussion if i have no idea i focus on respond to the discussion!

yes, I believe that you can. I'm not real sure on how it works but I do know that you get credit for responding to the responses that you get in your own discussions even tho your number may not go up as a result.

I did not post many discussions, as thinking a topic and star a discussion is rather hard for me. What I do most is to response to discussions, as I find it more interesting and stimulate myself to think. I am still new here, but in my opinion yes we can earn without posting discussions. Unless your discussions are responded by many people (and of course you commented on their responses), I think giving responses is a better way, at least for me :)

Hello yugasini, yes dear you can still earn when you are not doing any discussion on mylot.But for that you need to have ample of referrals who are active here every single day, because your each reffral gives you 25 percent of their earnings and that is really profitable but it is really hard for us to get even 1 good referral who is active and working daily here.:)

Dear yugasini, Just a summary from what I understand:- 1) Every response that you post, you will be paid. BUT bear in mind, make sure at least minimum 3-4 relevant sentences regarding the topic in discussion. A few cents per post..so the more you post, the merrier! 2) If you start a topic, then it is advisable that you comments on the responses that you receive in order to earn. Again, minimum 3-4 relevant sentences! If you include a photo in your discussion, it earns too! myLot pay on your comments! for the responses you received... 3)I think (not so sure), the higher rating and with more quality response, the earnings is higher! Just try and see for yourself. If this strategy is true, let me know too:) Therefore, keep doing what you are doing right now, posting new topics, comments on the responses receive and response to others topics too!

I do about perhaps 2 postings. Then I answer to the responses. That actually takes a lot of my time. Sometimes, it is not easy to answer one-line responses. Sometimes, I have to ignore them. I do not know how they will award payments for those I ignored.
