What do you do to keep your body fit?

Recently i really care for my health especially in this special situation.
Everyone wants to have a strong body, but how to do?
There is a saying that "An apple a day keeps the doctor away". So eat more vegetables and fruit.
There is another saying that"No sports, no life." So take more exercise. The more exercise you do, the more healthy you will be.
Do you agree? Do you have any good idea to keep body fit?

I'm a nutritionist, but diets don't keep your body fit. A little exercise is necessary to even improve your calcium balance. A little sunshine improves your vitamin D -- so healthy nutrition is not all about diet. Sorry. Even just a brisk walk 20 minutes a day, or if you are not able to walk, arm movements and chair exercises will keep your body fit.

Keep practicing your body is one of the best ways to keep your body fit. Sometimes eating proper food can also make a difference. For example drink more juice and milk instead of COCOCOLA.
No sports, no life is quite right.
BTW, don't sit too long in front of your laptop.

Hi kidboy! I agree to you it's better to drink milk than drink softdrinks because milk do have great nutrisious vitamin content than the softdrinks. One good about the milk is it help our bones to make it strong and hard. Then regarding in no sport no life, i gues in some point it's really through because your body will became weak. Imagine we can compare our body to a particular machine where if you will not use it the rust is on it, and it will be hard to operate it again. How i wish you get my point kidboy. Well, that's happy posting to all of us.

I think if you want have a strong body,you should do exercise every day with me.
You always surfing online,study,chatting with your friends,but when I call you go out for do exercise,you always say you are too tired.Ur...What could I say??...

there's no real secret to a healthier and fitter body. the best you can do is exercise, smile more, get more sleep, and get less stress. In addition you should eat a well balanced diet. You don't have to go overboard with the health foods just balance is good enough.

Yeah. I couldnt agree more. A peaceful mind is the best thing to stay healthy, u feel oriented towards the rest of things automatically. When u r unhappy, u dont feel enthused to do anything except wallow in self pity. So whatever makes u unhappy, walk away. Rest of things, like exercise, and sleep will automatically follow.

Try a protein rich diet with exercise. Have small meals at 2 hour intervals, with any amount of fruits and 3 to 4 portions of salad. Reduce your carbohydrate intake and leave sugar/junk food for sometime. Start your day with 2-3 glasses of water, followed by a fruit after 15 mins. A total of 14 glasses of water everyday. Best of luck.

That's funny. I've never exercised. What I do is never eat meat or dairy. Always have fruits or vegetables only when you're hungry. Drink lots of water. I do all this and sit at a computer all day, working hard for a great future. The funny part is that I could run a marathon if I wanted. I wouldn't need to catch my breath for it, either.
Food and drink is the issue. I only eat plants and only drink water. Any juice I have will come from the fruit itself. Don't have processed juice. Believe it or not, cranberries are very tart. The cranberry jelly in a can or cranberry juice is very processed and loaded with sugar.
Don't eat raisins. They're nature's 'candy', which means it removes the juice from the grape and leaves all the sugar. Not to mention you can get more raisins in your body than grapes. If anything, fruit is a dessert. Mostly eat vegetables all day.
Eating like I do will make you look good and make you fit without having to do much except walk to the fridge or kitchen from your room to get the food.

I stay fit by eating good food, eating according to my current physical needs, and walking at least a half a mile a day...and trying to clean around the house and do stuffs around the farm as well.
The rest, of course, is my mental health...which has always been more work than my physical health too -- but you really need both to be truly "fit".

At Work,I'm on my feet all day and would walk a lot-I've tried wearing a pedometer before,and I rack up miles of walking around each day! I only Live about 4 miles away from work,and given good weather,will leave my car at home and ride in on my bike instead..that's usually enough to keep my weight balanced..

Keep our body fit is very important for our life. Always eat more food and do some exercise at least once a week will make us stay healthier.
I love to eat plenty of green vegetables and fruits to keep my body healthy. As for exercise, I have not been doing it for very long time. I am lacking of determination to do it.
Do eat healthy food to keep yourself healthy!!

to keep my body fit... i need to do the following:
1. eat right = more veggies, fruits, less fats and salty foods
2. drink enough water = 8-10 glasses a day
3. enough time to sleep
4. do some exercise
5. take a break
6. do your best to manage stress... live a stress-free life

That are my dreams have body fit. But I don't have more time to make my body fit. I do not time for excercise. Every day I must go work early morning and come to home late night.

Keeping health is not only easy but also hard.You say that the more exercise you do the more healthy you will be.I think it is wrong.As we all know going too far is as bad as not going far.To be health i have some advice.
Firstly,we should make sure enough sleep.This is very important.If we sleep, our body will do something to amend itself and have a rest.
secondly,choose what food to eat is also important.To eat is not just to make us not hungry and satisfy appetite.Herbalist doctors says sickness comes usually from eating.eating more vegetables and fruit is good.But it is not enough.our body not only need nutritions from vegetables and fruit but also some meat and cereal.Meat contains protein and cereal contains starch.Thosi are also something we need.
Thirdly,we should choose to do some exercise.For old people,walking is the best choice.for young people there many other exercises and i think joging is the best.
And there are also other points we need to pay attention.For example, we should keep a good mood everyday.........

i agree with that. in addition to, one can stay fit by avoiding non nutritious food such as junk foods. also, one must avoid carcinogenic food like barbecues. and always be happy so that one will not strain his or her heart.

in the last 12v months i've changed my eating habbits and am out dong excerise more. i've cut out the sugar in my coffee, and don't eat extra sugar unless i have to. i'm walking to work in the arvos, and with the days getting longer i can go out after work again with the dogs. i do feel better for it and it's showing, i also ride the horse most days.

i am trying to get more fit so i have been walking outdoors since april at least 4 days per week and more if possible. i also try to do some stomach crunches and leg raises everyday. i have increased how far i walk just this past week and i am trying to eat less so i can lose weight. i also keep active during the day doing lots of chores and such around the house and i make sure to get plenty of rest at night.

I agree to you happyforever! Everyone of us really want to have a good health especially in this kind of situation where the money is very hard to earn and you really need to give a good effort that's why we need to prevent sickness.
Well, to keep my body fit. I always eat enough food on time that will fit myself and every morning, I always perform a good exercise that my blood rush through my veins and make my heart beat faster. With this activity my stamina increase that causes for me to do more works.
Based on my own experience sleeping on the right time everynight is one of the ways to be fit. In addition, while surfing in the internet i accidentally see a good site where you can able to read in order to have a good healthy body fit. The site that i've seen is perfected-human.blogspot, i guess it will surly help and give a good information to all of us.
But in generally for me the general way to make your body fit is to have a good discipline in your body everyday.

It’s my first time to hear no sport no life. I like it. I also very care about my body fit. I also have my ways to keep my body fit, but I don’t think mine is special.Basically I walk daily and swim regularly. I like walking and swimming because I can control the pace of my speed and I can do it alone.
I think exercise is good for our body, but we should be careful, not over do exercise. Last but not least have a good sleep and eat a little less than normal. So after a while you will find you lost weight and more fit.

There's alot of ways to do to keep our body fit. But mostly people don't have enough time to do those things. Mostly even lazily to move their body but they still want to have fit and healthy body. The fact is in this modern life we need to work even more extra hard to earning money for life so that's why there's only few people can really keep doing exercises and sports. I have the simplest and easiest things to do in order to keeping our body in fit condition. I always having enough sleep every night and also always having enough fresh and healthy water to drink. I know that everyone also do the same things such these. But the fact there's not every people can have enough sleep or rest, and also enough water everyday. That's why mostly people haven't have fit body. So i suggesting you to start this habit if you are really want to have a fit body. Enough sleep can give relaxing feelings to our mind and brain. When our brain can rest enough from daily hard thinking works, our body will getting better as well. Having enough water is very important and also can helping our metabolism system.
