Do you think you will manage a Desktop computer without a mouse?

Yes I think I can do that. It happened once when we went to a camping and we forgot to bring one for out station PC but then I managed to operate it. I am really fond of memorizing shortcut keys because tey just make my life easier. I save a lot of time for not having to grab the mouse and just type on my keyboard since my fingers are always on the keyboard anyway. Even if grabbing the mouse only takes a split second to do, that could be a lot combined. :D

Since I worked in computer support for many years, I had to learn how to navigate the screen without a mouse because, not infrequently, one of my client's machines would lose mouse function and I had to fix the problem!
I frequently navigate word processing software and spreadsheets without a mouse and (in Windows XP and earlier) I normally close the computer using keystrokes (WinKey, U, U). I also know how to use Tab, the arrow keys and Enter to select an icon on the desktop and Alt and the hotkeys to activate a menu.
I certainly find the lack of a mouse inconvenient but I can manage without fairly well.

Oh boy...a fun question.
I actually have had to manage without a mouse before and it is no fun. In order to do so you gotta know the keyboard shortcuts, which I do know, but would much prefer my mouse. But at least it is possible when a mouse decides to kick the bucket and you can't get to the store immediately to buy a new one. :)

Woa No!! I know there is some Desktop computer that uses the trackpad of a laptop. But I guess a mouse is still the best for navigating the computer. Even when I am using the laptop, I use a wireless mouse most of the time. I feel very weird using the trackpad of the laptop, even on the new Macbook Pro "glass" trackpad which is suppose to be the most comfortable and user-friendly trackpad.
So for me, you must (a big must!) use a mouse for operating the computer.

Well, there are 2 ways-
1. No mouse means hell!. No keyboard is fine we can use on-screen keyborad but mouse takes away the life from desktop they are useless. Go and get a new mouse
2. In windows, Start all programs accesories accesibility options
now make adjustments to control the cursor from arrow buttons

You back in the old days we been using PC without a mouse and we can navigate does menu very fast and effectively but that was then but now we have windows based programs that really needs a mouse to navigate nicely but if you are familiar with the shortcuts you never imagine how fast you could do some task.
