For me, a friend is someone you can count on in times your down and someone who will not hesitate to count on you when his in down times as well. Each have different meaning of friendship depending on how you treat a friend. How about you, how do you define your friend?

Hi, for me a friend is a person who should be always by your side no matter what. A friend should be a person with whom I should have no pretence, who should be honest with me and should be beside me when I require him or her the most be it joy or sorrow or anything. Luckily I have some friends who have stood by me at my most difficult times. With them I can be myself. But right now I have settled down somewhere else. So I cannot meet them as often as I used to do previously but the moral support is always there. We know that we are always there for one another no matter what the situation.

True friends never judge you, always support you and are there when you need them. They should also be good listeners and someone you can be your real self with. They will know your strengths and also your weakness. They are reliable, trustworthy too. So you are right, these type of true friends are hard to find. One of my favorite quotes about friends is the following: "friends are angles who lift us to our feet when our wings have trouble remembering how to fly"

Friend is one who is there when you are happy or sorrow and you can count on any time.So friends must be reliable.i don't make friends anywhere. It is hard to get a real friend out of school. My classmates of the my dorm always become my best friends.I don't know.Probably we can understand each other turly after living together for a long time.
