Eyes are a very big give away as to what someone thinks about you, often you can watch them moving youver you and settling on places they find particularly interesting. The key for eyes though is on pupil change and contacts, let me explain. For some weird and wonderful reason there is a fantastic process whereby when a human identifies something they really like their pupil will get fractionally larger, obviously you need to be aware of background light levels to use this as any form of evidence. As for the second point, you can get an idea of how deep the feelings are someone has for you by the length of time they will hold eye contact for without verbal prompting. As for other things, the pitch and tone of voice that he uses when talking to you compared to other people will be an indicator. Whether he'll put down any work that he's doing when you walk in (obviously that's a little ambigious because you wont necessarily know how busy he is or when the deadline is). Make a suggestion of going out somewhere but then let it fade and see if he takes the initiative to plan it instead.
