4 days no water, how will you react?

A notice publiced on the local government website that said the city wouldn't offer water in the coming four days for a new railway. I don't have tank so my wife taken a long time for water saving. Not only all basins and water buckets were full filled water but the washing machine full filled water as well. However, yesterday was the first no water day that publiced by the government, I woke up early in the morning and I got a big surprising that noting happened. The water offering as usuall. My wife said we can dropped out the water but I decide to keep them for 3 days. I'm afraid that tomorrow or today after tomorrow will no water.

i would truly be frustrated and i dont know what to do. maybe call our local water department in that matter. water is way too important that we do not do anything about it. its important to take some precautionary measures specially if its our water system that is involved. we cannot live without water and it is really important that the government will do something for it. that we would not be having such problems in the near future.
