I don't tolerate those beggars asking money on the road bringing baby as their bait. I hate seeing them crossing the roads because this may cause them to get hit by cars. I give money to the beggars who just stay on the the sidewalk but i do hope that there is a foundation that could help them and feed them.

I usually don't give money to them. Because if I did it will only make them like what they were doing. Those that you were mentioning are from a certain ethnic groups that leaves their places just to ask money on the road. Well, I think that if we won't give them they will not be anymore motivated to leave their places and be contented.

Yes,I remember my former professor back in college. He said that if we really want to help those people then we should not give them a penny because that was just a temporary help. Instead we should think of a long term help like supporting some foundations that will help people like them.

hi friend... it comes into tradition and culture for poor people to be beggar in my country. actually i specify them as lazy people because even some of them are poor, they try harder to get a job not just sitting or begging for some money on the street. i hate them really. bringing a baby is just a trick in my country, they hope for sympathy of other people who seeing them. i don't know whose mistake this is. i think both government and the beggars don't take any responsibility. the government doesn't create more job opportunities, while the beggars do not aware of their life, if they know that they are poor then it isn't wise to have a baby.

You are right, you have a bright idea about this people. people who are having position in our government are just corrupt. We pay big taxes and so they must use this tax for people so there would be lots of work available and so beggars are minimized.

I do give money to the beggars. I usually give it either to a handicapped beggar or a very old woman. Everyday, when I usually go for my morning walk, I always carry a few coins with me, and I always give some money toa handicapped woman, who begs near my house. I also give to an old woman and an old man who beg near the beach, where I have may morning walk.
There are many foundations, but the beggars usually do not go and stay there, and they prefer to stay in a group of their own.

you are generous and people like you are hard to find now, yeah it's right to give beggars who are disabled already like very old and very young children but i am against in giving those people who are still healthy and capable for work.

sometimes i do. but if its possible i would not tolerate such act from them. some beggars like those children who have no parents to attend to their needs or those beggars who just make themselves and their family such living is a big disappointment. those children would just use the money for such evil act. like buying those prohibited things that they think are useful for them. while others are now making it as their living. which in fact is not a good thing to be done.
i also do hope our government would do something about them. but sometimes those people are just way too stubborn to get on the governments help for them. they still would like to end up on the streets rather than a nice home or foundation for their families and for themselves.

yeah you're right, i feel pitied on them. I can't seem to imagine if they are getting hit by cars on the road, especially those beggars who are bringing babies with them. If I am so rich in this world, I would do personally for this people like giving them homes and jobs for themselves and for their babies to feed.

Hello xannebull..How are you today?
Yeah those beggers can get a little pushy sometimes. I know here they will stand on the side of the interstate and hold a sign saying they need work for food. Im not going to put all of them down because Im sure there is some that really need it. The thing I don't understand is why they can't get foodstamps from the government. I know they have strict rules but it looks like to me they could get them if they have no work.. I have no ideal why they don't get the help..

Hi rose i'm doing fine, i hope you too.. You are right, government must do something for these needy persons. The taxes that we have been paying must also be shared to them instead of corrupting.

xannebull..I know a family that was about to lose their home because the husband got hurt and coulnt work. They tried every thing to get help with their house payment. No agency would help because they didn't rent their house. How sad is that...No wonder people are afraid to buy a home..

That is depend on condition. I must see detail about that beggar. That is dilemma. I want give my money to help them. But in other site in my hearth said "don't give them some money, money make them more lazy".
Sometimes I see beggar woman with carry up baby. I think that is not their baby. Because I can see difference about woman have baby and woman don't have baby from their physics.
I come froim Indonesia, In here a lot of baggar with carry up baby but that is not their baby. She rent that baby every days to make other person bleeding heath with them.
A lot of abduction in here. So, I don't give money for beggar with carry up baby.

I don't give money to the beggars on the street. I give food when I have though. I have had a lot of funny and yet pathetic experience with beggars. Like one time, I always pass in front of Diamond Motors in Cainta on my way to the mall from the gym. I was stopped by an old man asking for fare going home. As I said, I don't give money and so I just gave him the bread I bought. Anyway, several weeks later, the same man stopped with the same spiel. I reminded him and he basically just turned his back on me. Farther down the same road, an old woman came up to me twice with the same story. I remind them to remember the faces of the people they come up to.

Beggars are pitiful and i sometimes choose to give them money.I agree with you. There should be some foundations to keep them. But some beggers are even richer than us.You might don't believe it,but it is truth. So what should we do as we see beggers? There are no answers. just as you like.

I agree with your views only if the beggar i meet is physically capable to do work.IF IT IS SOME ONE WHO IS HANDICAPPED OR SUFFERING FROM ANY DANGEROUS DISEASE ,i would rather try to help him just giving small amount because i know that many small donations join together to form a great one.
I don't agree that most foundations alone are capable of feeding beggars. Its we who have to donate for the foundations
.........WE ARE THE ONE TO HELP THE POOR TO LEAD A STANDARD LIFE....................
AS THEY ALSO ARE HUMANS

I used to give money to beggars when I was little. Although I do pity them but nowadays, I don't. I try not to give them money but give them food instead. In that case, I can be sure that the thing I gave them will make their stomach full.

Sometimes I do ,and sometimes I didn`t do .Some geggars sit or lie on the side of the road to beg ,and it also has many beggars follow you and catch you for money. If they are the first one I will give money or not for second.Beggars are becoming a serious society problem now.It can not be solved by our money ,and it need goverment to do it.There must be much more policies to help them and solve the problem that cause by the geggars .If this problem can not solve ,it will affect the city`s image and broke the city`s order .

hi xannelbull,
Begging is now common in every country in this world and more so in poor countries. As far as i am concerened i never give anything to beggers as most are begger by choice and you see countless beggers on every red light and as soon as you give to one begger all of them pounce of you like you would give all. And there it was in papers that mafia gangs are now running beggers and they would delebrately break legs or arms to get sympathy money from the public.

Hi xannebull. I choose the ones I give money to. Like you, I do not give those who carry their baby with them. They make use of their kids just to get alms from the public. It is the same like giving them hard labor. Some could be members of syndicates that uses them to get money.

I am a kind of person that kind, and helpful most in the older beggars. Everytime that i am seeing in the roads, i give their food like bread. Sometime a give money to the children's beggar.

I do think as same as you. But these people are like crap man. carrying those cute little babies in that sun and that pollution. once in a while when feel like to kick them because they think begging as a business and borrow babies and spoil their health too.
