Would you rather have a cold or hot meal?

for me, it depends. if it is in the winter, and it's so cold i'd prefer a bowl of hot soup. yummy. but, if it is in the summer, you know 34 Celsius degree, i don't wanna to sweat all over my body because of eating hot meals.

For me, the weather has a lot to do with what I like to eat. In the hot Summer, I like to have something cold like salad or ice cream. In the winter - or especially when it's raining - I like to have some hot chili or some hot soup. I like to cook most of the time so it doesn't matter to me most of the time.

It depends on various factors. It also depends on what type of food I am going to eat. Some meals need to cool down in order to enjoy its taste. Sometimes if the food is too hot then it can burn your tongue. Also it depends on the weather. If its cold then I would prefer a warm meal and if the temperature is hot then I won't like to eat hot food.

Hello Tuckersheri, I like hot meal too. If I was served with cold food, I don't get to eat much. I find that I will have good appitite if served with hot meal. My hub sometimes will come back late from work. What I do is reheat all the food for him. I always think that hot food is good for your stomach.

Depends on the weather. In winter, I like hot meals and when it's 40 degress outside, I prefer cold sandwiches, even a cold pizza.

Depending on the food if it's better eaten hot or cold. Me, i sometimes like my baked mac cold, although sometimes i like it warm. I don't think that a cold meal shows no effort... If you're in a hurry and have no time to wait for your household to wake up early in the morning before you start cooking, then a cold food is better than no food cooked at all. Besides, you can reheat it if you really want it hot.(^_^)

I always prefer hot meals. I don't have the appetite when the food is cold except juices or smoothies of course but if its a meal then i like it hot. In fact when i have left overs and that was put on the fridge, i always re-heat it before eating. Well i guess generally people prefers their food hot and i never heard yet from someone i know that they prefer cold meals.

Hot or cold food does not "show" anyone anything. Sorry. I disagree with you on this issue. That is my personal opinion. The quality of food is important. I prefer fresh foods. I keep a bowl of fruit in the refrigerator. Whenever we want a quick snack that is healthy, we just grab something from the bowl. I also enjoy hot foods, especially on a cold day. I like soups, pasta, rice. I also like grilled sandwiches. I cook or prepare my own meals. No one cooks for me. I cook for other people sometimes. If they like or enjoy what I make, great. If not, they can cook for themselves or starve. It is their choice. I am not trying to impress anyone with my cooking abilities.

hello tuckersheri, i prefer to eat hot meal rather than cold. i can eat it in no time. for if it is cold, it will take me some time before finishing it. no matter what my food if it is hot, i can eat it with gusto.

Hi tuckersheri, I prefer to have a hot meal because a hot meal is a healthy meal. Even if there is summer then also I like to have my meal when it is warm. I have seen that some people like to have the food directly from the refrigerator. I think it is not good for health even if the climate is good. They must be enjoying the cool.

That would depend on when do I have the meal. If it's for tea break, I would prefer cold meal like cake or trifle. It's hot in this country, I don't need more heat from hot food during that time. But apart from that, it's better to have hot meals. Hot meals can warm my stomach. If it's prepared by my loved ones, I can feel the warm from the food warm up my heart.

I owuld prefer hot meals... yikes... i only take cold if it is salad or ice cream..lolz!

i'd also prefer to have a hot meal rather than the cold one. because when the time your meal turns cold, your appetite gradually decreases. and the best thing in hot meals is that you can guarantee that it is safe and fresh but it's disadvantage is, surely you're tongue will be painful hehe. :)

I would much rather have a hot meal any day. I like a cold sanwich every now and then but not too often. I like my food to be hot when I eat it. Iy does not taste good at all when it is cold.

It really depends on the time of the year. Winter, I prefer cold meals, but sometimes in the summer, I would rather have a cold me. And some cold meals require lots of efforts. Just as some hot meals just require a microwave.

Hi there, well i am enjoying food when it is hot. Sometimes food that serve cold was boring for me I mean i dont like to eat that at all. When the food is hot i feel that i really taste it better. Anyway, hope i can make sense here and keep on mylotting

For me a hot meal is great when its cold outside such as a hot bowl of chili. During the summer months I prefer cold meals such as Hamburgers with macaroni salad, potato salad and a tall glass of Ice Tea. Hmmmm Yummy!
