Have you encounter many spam mails in your spam folder? Beside checking my inbox everyday, I also check the spam folder. I am getting annoy because so many spam mails I have there. Just take a look at the subjects of those spam mails I have. All the spam mails come with funny subjects! Sharing something with you here :
Some spam mails with funny subjects :
1. You won the big lottery
2. Urgent reply needed
3. Packaging for you ( from unknown )
4. Can we be friend?
The subjects are funny and I have deleted all these spam mails. My brother in law told me better to delete all the spam mails in your folder as they might send by hackers. Do you think so? Have you got any funny spam mails and do you open it and read it?

Hello kitty,
Thanks for your response.
For me, I was like you never open the spam folder. Until one day my friend send me an important email and I could not see it in the inbox. So I asked her to resend to me again and I still did not get it. Then she asked me two check on the spam folder from there only I get to know I have many important emails go to spam holder.
I hope by now you will get more alert at your spam holder,

Yes i encounter a lot of spam mails in my inbox as well as in my spam folder.I have opened few of the mails when they say urgently required.I was wrote back to a person when he said i won a huge amount. He replied back and asked me all my details.I did a wise thing of calling my friend and he told me that not to give details as the money in my bank would get empty so i kept silent after that.I do not delete those mails as i have unlimited storage so i keep it as it is without opening it.

I have experienced spam emails in the past but with my current provider the spam filter seems to take most of the unwanted mails out at the webmail stage. Therefore I only get around 1 or 2 unsolicited mails each day. These are often strange requests from ladies in the USA lol. I always block these senders though. I'm not sure about whether any of these messages are from hackers. They are more of a nuisance than anything else.

I have become habitual of them. so many mails come to me daily and i dont even try to open them i just spam them so that they are saved in my spam folder of mail box and then i go for spam folder and see the subjects of them at a glance. And if there is no importent mail seems to be then i do what is needed. I just select all and delete them at once.

Yeah, I must get a handful of them on my e-mail daily at least. Most of them are about what you mention in your post. It's sort of annoying but easy to ignore if you just press delete as soon as you see them.

i think the funniest ones are the ones offering me viagra ! especially as i am a laydee!! but yes i used to get loads of rubbish mails. the most worrying ones are the ones saying you have been selected as you are a caring person (yuk ) and if you send your bank details you will get loads of money to put in to your account. this will help some one abroad, and you will get a cut of the money. Even more worrying are the ones supposedly from banks, saying you need to confirm your bank details. this is why i won't bank on line.

I agree and sometimes you think of how do they actually trace your address. Anyway, as i review them, i delete those unnecessary and declare it not spam it is important.

It comes by tons and go by tons. Just a glance through for one in a million authentic one and then send them packing immediately. When ever I open my email I try to have a look at my spam folder too for some slip ups.
Who knows you might miss one which you are eagerly waiting for, so better glance through before packing them off.

I also get many spam emails, which automatically go into the spam folder. I do check the spam folder on a daily basis, however, because some emails accidently slip into there!
I advise that it's better not to read them as some have a responder in them, which will inform the sender that you have read the email, hence they know that it is an actively used email address, and send you more spam mails!

I think spam emails is a serious problem nowadays since the spams distribution is getting higher and higher than several years ago. But the fact is if we use free webmail services, we can't totally be free from such spam emails. I don't know what's actually happened with the free webmail services, but the fact is we can easily got spam emails even though we never share our email address. i don't know whether if the free email provider selling our email address or there's some hacker's method to get our email address. I think you can set your email's spam policy if you feel the spam emails on your mailbox is really annoying than before. This is the risk of using free email services. But if you can checking your mailbox regularly daily, i think you can delete the spam emails as soon as possible when you've got such emails on your mailbox. Some free email providers have spam folder for redirecting spam emails. I think you can try such thing. Good luck and have a nice day. Happy mylotting.

Well my spam 5 - 6 hundred per month is way down from 5 - 6 thousand per month that I had about 7 years Ago. I use 'yahoo' mail and the spam never gets to my PC anyways so I do not delete the spam, 'yahoo' dumps it after a month. I almost ever open it, but just mark it as read. I glace at the subject lines of all unread non-spam and spam, 'yahoo' classic allows you to do this, the new 'yahoo' only sorts the mail folders not quite the same thing.

Oh yeah!. We know that we suffer global spam messages in the internet. This problem cannot be fixed as long as all has been wiped out. As an advice, do not ever reply to this message or give anything an amount of money or information. Because most of these are terrorist or criminals to have money or finding victims for their scams. Hope this helps.
