I got glasses when I was ten years old. I began to wear contact lenses when I was twenty one years old. I still have a pair of glasses which I put on when I get up in the night time. I wear daily disposable contact lenses. How about you?

It is interesting that you tried contact lenses when you were a teenager but went back to wearing glasses.

I am near-sighted. I started to wear glasses when I was in the high school. I seldom wear glasses at usual because I think it may be worse for my eyesight. I only wear glasses when I watch TV or something necessary. I love China

I wear contacts and have for about 2 years now. I have a pair of glasses to wear also when I don't want to wear my contacts, but I hardly ever wear the glasses. They bother me and give me a headache if I wear them for too long. They press behind my ears too much and I hate that. My contacts are monthly ones.

Hi,Maximax. I am also a myopic man.But I think u'd better avoid it if possible, just like me,I have been being used to be without it in order to protect your eyes.Of course,if really necessary,I suggest u choose glasses other than contact lens. Best wishes Daniel

I had cataracts, so had my lens replaced with artificial ones, now, after wearing glasses for over twenty years, I only wear them to read, and only in inside. I can read outside in natural light without glasses.

I wear glasses and contacts. I had switched between glasses and contacts for years, but when I was twenty I went just to contacts. However, when I was 25 my eye doctor told me my corneas were going to detach if I continued to wear my contacts. Apparently, I had an infection and a chronic case of dry eye as well. She said I had to NOT wear conacts for an entire year. I waited two years, and just recently was allowed to have my contacts back. But to give my eyes a rest, I wear my glasses at least two days a week instead of contacts.

I got glasses at a similar age to you. I started wearing contact lenses much earlier however, I think I was around 15 years old as far as I can remember. I wear glasses sometimes when I need to pop out somewhere quickly. I don't like wearing my lenses everywhere because my eyes can get quite dry if I keep them in for too long.

I wear both glasses and contacts. I've worn glasses since I was in my early teens. I started wearing contacts when I was 17 I believe? I enjoy both but lately my contacts have really been bothering me. I think it's time to go to the eye doctor and ask him to prescribe me a new brand. So lately I've been wearing my glasses all the time! I miss contacts. When I wear both I usually wear my contacts all day and glasses at night.

I prefer use glasses. Until now I use glasses because no need a lot of maintenance. Contact lens very difficult to use for me and that is not practice. I must clean in the cleaner fluid every day.. pufff
