I knew all four times. It was a fight with the doctors years ago because the tests were not as good as they are now to determine early pregnancy. When one doctor could not confirm the pregnancy, he started treating me like I was some sort of nut case. Guess who I did not use again for pregnancy? This was one of the better doctors in our large city at the time. I have learned that as a woman, if we listen to our bodies, we have a whole lot more insight on the whole subject of pregnancy than we are given credit for.

i totally believe in just taking it in and listen to what your body is saying. even tho im a bit overweight, i still take care of my body when i think i am pregnant. i eat a lot of fruits and veggies. my son is old enough to take flintstone vitamins so i take one with him. i dont drink or smoke.

The first time I just felt quite strange and didn't know that I was pregnant until I got a successful pregnancy test. I was so surprised about that. My oldest son was born in 1995.
The second time I felt really really unwell but I couldn't describe anything like an illness. I did a pregnancy test just to find out what might be wrong. It was indeed pregnant. At 36 weeks pregnancy I found out about my second son's spina bifida and hydrocephalus. He was born in 2007.
The third time I wondered because I felt very tired and dizzy. I had some bleeding and it was difficult to understand. I did get a successful pregnancy test. I kept the news about my pregnancy quiet for months. I wanted to get the all clear news by the fetal medicine expert. I got that and my healthy little baby girl was born in 2009.

Not really. I think my husband was hopeful, but he was trying not to get my hopes up. Me on the other hand, I just knew. I had always thought that sounded silly to say you could tell so soon, but not anymore. I knew way before I took the pregnancy test. My period has always been extremely regular- 26-28 days. I knew I was definitely pregnant on day 29 because I had never missed past day 28 before. Plus, I just felt happy and more content than I had in a long time. I'm now 5 months pregnant with our first baby and loving it. :)

Yup...with my daughter (first born), she was planned so I kind of knew, before husband. Now with my son, I didn't found out that I was preggers, again until I was in my sixth month into the pregnancy. I never had the symptoms, my period was always irregular, had no weight gain (but I was over-weight), but I had a really bad "stitching pain" in my side, but I thought it was caused by lifting too heavy a boxes, at work and I thought my uterine fibroids (benign) were growing according to my OB/Gyn.
When I was in the process of looking for a doctor to remove my fibroids, it was in the middle of "flu" season and I started to feel really crappy with "flu-like" symptoms, when I laid down, I've notice movements, then saw the kicking, again. I was in shock, because I thought I was done with having kids, after my daughter.
But my husband kept telling me, I thought he was teasing me and my mother-in-law was even noticing, but I was left clueless.
So now, I'm done, I have my two little blessings and unless God really wants me to have more kids, then I'd know because my IUD, would stop working. LOL.
