About Power

This is a good discussion and I am sure that some people wish they had Gods power like Bruce did in Bruce almighty and I think if I was granted that power I would do a few things for example I would feed all the hungry so no one would starve,and I would make homes for all the homeless so no one would have to live on the streets,and I would find homes for all the stray animals,since everyone deserves a home,and I would make everyone love each other so wars would stop happening,and peace would reign everywhere from then on,have a great day,good luck with your life,and all of my mylotting goals,and Happy Posting.

This may be a little personal but a friend of mine just became a father for the first time a few days ago. I don't know the whole story but I do know that the baby was born from an emergency C-Section and he was not breathing and went with out oxygen for about 18 minutes. He's breathing now but is still in ICU and has a long fight ahead of him still. They are also unsure if there is any brain damage because of the lack of oxygen. So if I had the power of god, I would take the child and heal him of any damage or sickness and see to it that he has a happy life with two parents that love him. Sorry for getting personal but that's what I would do.

If I could, I would ask the God of love, kindness, patience, joy, peace, mercy, grace, forgiveness, etc. what to do with such a huge responsibility. "Bruce Almighty" is one of my favorite movies. I especially have been touched by the scene near the end where Jennifer Aniston's character is saying her prayers and asking something like, "God please help me to forget Bruce." It really drove home to me how sometimes we can so misjudge others but God knows the whole story. Thank you for a thought-provoking question.
