Which is better for a student. Would it be the mini laptops or the regular sized ones?!!
I've heard arguments on both side and honestly I'm still confused and undecided about which one I should get. It's Sunday and I need to get one befor Tuesday cause I'm going to another country for studies. I would like to know if it would benefit me to get the regular laptop or get a more portable version. I like games so I need space and graphics, I'll be studing medicine so I need the office tools up to par and I like to surf the web so I need connectivity and speed.
Please let me know what to do?!!!

As a parent with 12 kids, with four of them having their own laptops, I say get a regular sized laptop. Since you intend using it for various purposes, choosing a regular gives a wider option.
Regular laptops have a greater option when it comes to CPU type, graphics chip, standard RAM with many offering 2Gb, hard disk size (320Gb is getting common), screen size, more expansion or USB slots, and more comfortable keyboards.
If possible get a new one. Second hand laptops may die out on you after the short warranty period, if any, runs out.

thanks for the advise. I believe you have helped me make my mind up. A full size laptop it is. Now the only problem is. Which one?! There are so many to choose from. Since I also have an iphone I was thinking a mac book but I really like the new acers that are out. Any ideas? My price range I'd about 700-1000 U$.
